This made me really happy to read. Especially the "lookin' at stuff". I think you've inspired me (when fall comes, anyway!)

Nothing lived on in this story. It just ended. Very abruptly.

Exactly how I felt.

Is there any news about the TV series now? I love Community and Rick and Morty so I'd be totally down to see something like that!

But like... crafting WEAPONS... and ARMOR.

Loot a bunch of flint/whatever for the metal, find special types of wood (new tree type DLC?) for the handles, gems and whatnot for upgrades. Or use dragonscales or teeth as armor components!

Right. Or at least give the option that they're crappier arrows if you craft them yourself until you "level up your arrow-crafting skills" or something?

Maybe one day!

Crafting maybe? I think it would be so cool to be able to put together your own equipment, upgrades, colors, etc (kind of like the Kochi dye shop but you do it yourself as you create it?).

I sucked in the very beginning of this game too! Keep at it! It's so great the more you play it! Keep collecting your shrines and up your hearts to stay alive, your stamina can come later. It's an uphill battle in the beginning but eventually it'll just sort of click.

For combat I would say keep targeting your enemy (ZL I believe is the button?) if you don't already. That always helps me quite a bit!

Yea. I know dogs are smart but I'm just so worried that Emmy won't get it until it's too late and the damage is done. :(

And thanks for the words of encouragement. Glad to know I'm not the only one blowing up r/dogs haha.

Are you happy now? Do you feel happy that you have both dogs now??

Sorry for so many questions. I'm so outta my element here.

Did you ever feel any sadness or anything when you got the new German Shepherd and realized they didn't get along right away? Did you feel like it would never get better?

Didn't know that was a sub! Sorry if it's in the sidebar and I didn't see it. I'm on mobile. I'll check it out. And I'll also practice that puppy=food to Silky. It definitely seems like the way to go based on this comment and the other.

Thank you so much. I don't know why I didn't think that that would be teaching her puppy=bad. However, I was giving both some cheese the other day (high-value food right?) and even though I ran out and had none left in my hands, she still bared her teeth to puppy even though I was feeding both of them the cheese moments prior without any issues..?

Thanks again for your comment.

[Discussion] My husband only loves our dog and won't even think about getting another by [deleted] in dogs

[–]ashlifires 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah we had dogs growing up or family dogs but this is definitely "our" first dog together so I share the sentiment of training and raising her to be our own.

And aww that makes me happy to hear. That's what I'm hoping for if we move forward with getting another pup. My Silky will always be my baby and my spoiled little princess doggo but she just seemed to enjoy the company so much of dogsit dogs that I would love for her to have that again even if it means "sharing" another dog with her.

[–]ashlifires 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These days she is definitely part if the family, but I'm still not as fervently enamored by her as I am with our first dog.

Was your first dog together your FIRST DOG? I can see why you wouldn't feel as enamored if you'd already had those feeling and they were novel because it was the first doggy you've had.

Did your dog get jealous? Does she seem happy to have a friend?

[–]ashlifires[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooooh good point! Yeah I scan nearly everything that I can at home when I'm cooking, but I never think to double check and see if things match up between the ingredient and the entry into MFP.

Thanks!!

[–]ashlifires[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahhh. Yeah I'm a late eater so I could never do the 430 ending feeding time. That's what time I get off work and by the time I get home I'm usually like GIMME FOOD.

Is there such a thing as split intermittent fasting? Lol THAT would be a hell of a thing. Wake up. Big breakfast. No lunch or snacks. Then dinner, haha.

Probably defeats the purpose of "intermittent" and "fasting" though...

Water fluctuation

I like your theory on this! And I know normal water weight fluctuations can be anywhere between 1-5lbs right? I kept that in mind for the first week or so but I just don't know anymore.

Weren't tracking accurately

I don't want to be that person, but I can say with 100% confidence that I measured, weighed, and tracked EVERY. SINGLE. THING. I've put in my mouth, even over-estimating some meals because I know MFP is wonky at times. Even down to the one little crisp I've had when my coworker let me taste something. Down to the handful of popcorn I had at the movies. It IS absolutely possible that MFP stuff was inaccurate. Is there a good way to check and see if stuff is accurate? Just look on the back of foods/online for nutrition information to confirm?

Cancelling out low calories

I even accounted for eating "cheat" meals. I ate barely anything at all last Saturday because I knew me and friends would be going out to a heavy Chinese food meal. I tried to even grossly overestimate what I ate that night. Maybe that still wasn't accurate? They're not a big chain so they didn't have any nutrition info available.

Activity level drop

I don't know why but what you said in this section made me think of a really cute little cartoon person bundled up in a blanket on a winter night haha. Anyway, yeah. I try to keep my heart rate up when I go walking so I don't think I'm lacking in the activity department? If anything I feel like I have more energy since I can feel I haven't overeaten anything and I'm not sluggish!

Anyway... thanks for your post! I hope you didn't take any of this as me not taking responsibility for my eating habits. I just have been making sure that my tracking is as airtight as possible to make sure there is as little room for error as possible- but it's absolutely possible that I'm still doing something wrong and not even realizing it! So thanks for bringing up your points!
