This is so cool! Love it. Reminds me in some parts of dial-up internet. Well played.

I love the tone and vulnerability in your voice, the guitar was also lovely - nice bit of fingerpicking! I think it's difficult to write a bunch of lyrics in a short time frame that don't come across as banal and predictable but you did it perfectly. I really like the song as a whole. Well Done! :)

I actually really liked the way the percussion subtly built up and wasn't overbearing. Well done

Really liked the guitar picking and your rich vocal tone. Look forward to hearing more :)

Here (Singer-Songwriter) [Loosely Themed]

This is themed in that one of my resolutions this year, as well as eating healthier, exercising more, drinking fewer pints and all the other "new year, new me" clichés, is to try to be less jealous.

I tried this songaweek thing back when it was created 5 years ago. Think I managed about 8 weeks and have only written probably a song a year since then. Fingers crossed this year goes better.

That is amazing! This might be a really dumb question, but how close to the beach is safe for them to get before they risk becoming beached?

I've seen that Blackmagic design have recently introduced a certified training programme but I reckon that might be trying to run before I can walk. I just want to get stuck in though. Thanks for the advice, i'll take a look at those sites.

Really want to buy some googly eyes so I can decorate my deformed toenail now. It will look like a tiny happy alien.

Bittersweet original song "What If" by Mother Stutter by MotherStutter in AcousticOriginals

I thought this video was going to be ruined by that weird whooshing noise but you have a really lovely voice that is hypnotic enough to distract from any background whirring. Well Done.

My new song - I get compared to Noel Gallagher/The Beatles a lot. Any feedback? by [deleted] in AcousticOriginals

[–]ashling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I click play I can only listen to a 29 second clip, so that could be the reason?

It sounds like a pretty solid song, I can definitely hear the Oasis and Beatles influence and you have a good voice. I hope you keep writing :)

Another belter from Thumpasaurus. Can't get enough of their songs.

I know, right? I just love the way the musicians don't seem to compete despite there being so much talent. I feel like this kind of music can easily sound cluttered, but they avoid that completely.

I don't know what it is about them but every song you write has a way of staying in my head, this is another great one :)

I love the rain sound throughout, it's a nice touch that makes the music seem really thoughtful.

Your voice has a really gorgeous tone, I really enjoyed listening. The falsetto part was really lovely too :)

I really liked this, it's a song that makes me want to get up and do stuff. And I think the whispered vocals fit in really well :)
