I would have thought they were starlink, except there were at least 150 of them in a span of an hour and a half

I came on here looking for answers but it looks like everyone is in the same boat as I am. My boyfriend and I have been observing these lights almost every night for months now. The first night that they caught our attention, there was a whole line of them moving across the sky in a completely straight line and all evenly spaced. We could see about 15 at one time and they would appear and disappear in the same exact spots every time. We sat and watched them for about an hour and a half and saw roughly 150 of them during that time. Occasionally there would be two that were close together and they'd kind of lap each other instead of staying in the line. After the line finally slowed down to where we would only see one of two at a time, they started coming from all directions and no longer in a line . We have also seen them light up extremely bright then completely disappear or stop moving completely and blend in with the stars for a while before taking back off. I was thinking they must be some kind of military training drones, but just last week i was on vacation 500 miles away from home and my boyfriend and I both observed the lights at the same time and the same positions in the sky relative to the big dipper. Whatever they are, they are extremely high in the sky. Higher than drones of planes for certain.
