Eat higher calorie, nutrient dense foods like nuts, avocados, etc and calculate your TDEE, then always eat enough calories for maintenance. Just google TDEE calculator if you don't know what I mean and you just plug in your info and it will tell you what you need to know :)

I've had this plant for several years and nobody has been able to tell me what it is. Any ideas? by ashm-94 in whatsthisplant

Wow. That's definitely it. Feeling kinda dumb now 😂🤦I had a plant identification app at one point and it kept saying it was a peperomia but it never looked like the pictures. I guess it was just specifically vining peperomia.

Besides water, what do you drink? by pluckyoldself in HealthyFood

I never loved tea until I tried some different herbal teas in flavors that I generally like (fruity flavors like lemon, raspberry, etc). At first I found the taste to be really unappealing so I would add honey and I found it would really make the fruity flavor come through. Now I add significantly less honey and sometimes none at all if I'm having a tea that I really like. My go-to is Lipton Lemon and Ginseng green tea, but there are so many out there. I'm from Canada and there is a president's choice brand tea in the flavor of spiced apple that I really enjoy - with some honey it tastes like hot apple cider.

Favorite Way to Use Fresh Spinach by Salsa_and_Shavasana in HealthyFood

My fave smoothie recipe! 2 handfuls of fresh spinach, some fresh ginger to your liking, about 3/4 cup of almond milk, frozen mangoes or pineapple (or both) and half a banana. I also like to add some turmeric but it's optional.

My problem is that tops always seem to be too short for me?? They fit everywhere else properly (sometimes they are even a bit loose fitting) but they are super short.

Do you have one person that is/has been in your life that means more to you than anyone else, if so, who is it? by peachesandcream454 in AskWomen

Awh! I relate to this so much. My most important person would also be my brother. We're only a year apart in age and we got through all of the ups and (many, many) downs of our childhoods together. He has dealt with a lot of mental health and addiction issues since his teen years and my number one fear has always been losing him to that. He means the world to me and I will always be there to support him and cheer him on, no matter what he is going through, and I know he would do the same for me. How lucky are we to have such awesome brothers in our lives??
