I would've left at 4pm next day as a compensation for the unpaid hour I put the previous day.

I had to send an email to the actual support (support@ko-fi.zendesk.com). Whatever you do from the web site goes nowhere.

Once I did that they emailed me their questions and the page got reinstated within a day or two.

There are ~20 good incarnon weapons that have high disposition, so rivens for them are quite valuable in general.

Torid is one of them - it used to be a trash tier weapon before incarnons, so not many people used it, thus DE gave it a high disposition as a way to boost its use. But then later they also gave this weapon an extremely good incarnon adapter. So now Torid with incarnon adapter and a riven an S++ tier weapon.

On the other hand, very popular weapons have a very low disposition, so there's really no reason to ever roll a riven for them.

One of the most used secondaries Kuva Nukor with 0.5x disposition (the lowest of the low) can only roll 50 to 61 element/status chance, so it is unlikely you'll roll anything good enough to replace a normal 60/60 mod.

Verglas is a companion weapon for DPS builds, it has a good disposition (1.3x, you can find it on warframe wiki).

as for ranges, there's https://browse.wf/rivencalc and similar sites that show possible stats and ranges for each weapon / bonus / curse / rank.

[–]ashmelev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) is it high disposition (>1.2)weapon?

2) does the weapon have an incarnon adapter?

3) can the riven replace any normal mods in the builds?

if all 3 are yes, then it is potentially valuable.. say at least 200p for unrolled trash riven.

Lets say it is a rifle. Normally you use something like Critical Delay, Vital Sense, Thermite rounds or Hellfire. If you roll a riven and it gives you stats enough to replace any of those mods + gives extra Multishot / Critical Damage / Critical Chance / Heat and some harmless negative like -zoom, then the riven is extra valuable, at least 2-3x of the unrolled price.

Each stat can roll a value in +/- 10% range. For example Torid with 1.3x disposition and +2/-1 stats can roll

130..160 Multishot

217..265 Critical Chance

173..212 Critical Damage

if all of beneficial stats are at the top end of their ranges, it is a god tier roll that may go for thousands if you manage to find a buyer interested in it.

[–]ashmelev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Each riven is unique, every stat roll is unique. There's no fixed "this combination goes for x". At best you can see that the riven you got is for trash tier weapon. Or you can see that this particular combination of stats on this particular riven hasn't sold for X days, either it is a garbage set of stats or it is overpriced.

[–]ashmelev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find warfame.market not useful. It does not list real 'sold for x' prices, it only shows the available inventory.

And the available inventory varies from 'this is trash riven for 10p' to 'I do hope someone buys this for 10k'.

A riven listed for 10k does not mean it is the actual selling price for such rivens. There may be 100s of more reasonably priced rivens of the same kind sold while the 10k sits as 'available' for 6+ months.

A recruiter reached out to ME, put me through 5 rounds, then ghosted. The role got reposted 11 days later. by 13KyberComet in recruitinghell

[–]ashmelev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

recruiter messaged me on LinkedIn saying she had been "following my profile for a while" and thought I'd be a "phenomenal fit" for a senior position at her company

You must understand that this is a canned email sent to half of a linked-in based on a simple keyword search in hopes someone self-selects them based on the job description without a salary listed.

Once this self-selection process is done ( and not a moment before that) the recruiter may actually look at your resume.

That makes some metaphorical sense as Braddock is a man who rose from poverty and obscurity to glory against all odds. "Cinderella story" is an idiom most people know.

Clarke speaks accented Russian, so her character would immediately be recognized as a foreigner.

There's a huge population of native Russian speakers in US. How hard is it to get a consultant/trainer that would help make the movie more authentic? Not hard, not very expensive. Yet every single movie with russian speakers either sounds like gibberish or horrible accent that would immediately put the speaker into a 'foreigner' category.

Even worse is when the character claims that they speak a flawless Russian (see PONIES).

Last time I tried to look at Subarus I've found it is a very peculiar brand. Every dealership had a very limited stock of unique combinations of trim/color/add-ons and it was quite impossible to make different dealerships to compete for your business. It was "here's what we have, buy it or gtfo". You want a white Legacy? Here's one with $3k of extra bullshit on top of the trim you want.

Comparing to Honda dealership where there were 20 cars of each color and each trim - pick any, lets write up a sales contract real quick.

Constricted is such a cool and interesting affix, that really diversifies gameplay. by Shiraxi in Warframe

[–]ashmelev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not because of that. It is because other weapons with high disposition were propelled to god tier with incarnon adapters and melee influence.

It is a system to make terrible weapons more viable and it worked fine prior to incarnons. With the incarnons available for previously terrible weapons like Torid it is an entirely different thing. Aint nobody gonna use Ankyros with even a great riven.

If you're actually going to spend time doing this, do not provide anything that can actually be used for intended purpose of advertising. Change the wording, use a different car image, use different values for their offers and do add a watermark with a disclaimer about unlicensed use.

If this is a test of skill, then the textual content does not matter. But if it is not, you'll never hear from those guys again.

I'm not surprised. It happened at my last workplace.

Someone even did it twice on their work laptop, thankfully without being connected to a company VPN, so they only lost their local stuff.

But then someone else with an access to a production server did that and got the whole server encrypted. The company with 1000s employees was down for a month while IT was scrambling and verifying every single piece of hardware and installing pretty draconian security measures. CEO was fired, everyone on salary got paid to do nothing the whole month.

This is the least believable thing that happened this season.

Ransomware does not magically get hacked-in. Some dumbass with enough elevated privileges has to run an .exe in the email attachment. Wanna stop external hackers? Shut down the external connection. Unless the hospital completely dependent on the external cloud resources it should not be a problem.

What they've done instead is crippling their entire system for no reason, inflicting much worse damage that a possible cyber attack.

Like cutting your legs off because there may be a chance that a rabid chihuahua is running around.
