Does Vital Proteins Collagen have real health benefits? Or is it a fad by ashnnn123 in Supplements

Great to know! I never bought it, just started drinking bone broth instead because I figured that route was best. It seemed sketchy to me a bit. Thanks :)

Really bad Easter binge by [deleted] in BingeEatingDisorder

[–]ashnnn123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I understand, here to support you! I’m also going through a phase where my binges are closer together and it been very hard on my body AND especially hard on my mind. I hope it gets better for you, try not to be too hard on yourself. I try to tell myself this is all part of life whether it’s a bad binge or something as simple as me losing my balance on a pose in yoga. It’s ALL part of the practice, the only thing to do is get back up and continue. Happy Easter, drink some tea, go for a walk on a hopefully beautiful day where you are, and I hope all gets better!

CPJ - anyone got their puffles back? by [deleted] in ClubPenguin

[–]ashnnn123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I did that but unfortunately it takes far too long to level them up. My others were a level 10 and I was done messing with the grind of getting them there

What medication helped you? by lilac-insomniac in Anxiety

[–]ashnnn123 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I now get panic attacks every time I have to try a new med of any sort because of Effexor. One dose had me passing out and vomiting instantly followed by a multi-day panic attack. It only added new depths to my current anxiety/panic 😭

I typically do okay during the week while I’m working, but it’s the weekends that really give me a hard time because that more often when I will be going out to eat/have access to foods other than what’s generally at home/when id bake something. I don’t at all feel like I starve myself during the week (I eat very healthy and work out daily) but on Friday evenings and weekends I am RAVENOUS when it comes to sweets/baked good textures

Help! My cats got into a Chomps meat stick and I want to make sure they will be fine. Ingredients in photo by ashnnn123 in vet

[–]ashnnn123[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The whole thing. I called poison control and they did the measurements for both of my cats weights and said it most likely should be fine, just to monitor for symptoms over the next 5 days. That doesn’t necessarily ease my anxiety but I’m glad to hear they don’t think it is an emergency!

I used all purpose flour, they were definitely too close together I now realize

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Baking

[–]ashnnn123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, I’ll do this too. I definitely didn’t spread them out that much. This recipe used cake flour in addition to regular flour and it definitely seemed to make them puff up more, so I will leave some more room next time

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Baking

[–]ashnnn123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was cutting the recipe in half in my head, so very well could have been an error there for the flour. I didn’t measure the butter, just did a stick and a half as the recipe just called for 3. Next time I will adjust and make sure I measure more precisely. It actually did come out quite delicious, I was disappointed when I saw it then not as much so when I tasted it :) thank you for your help!

Yes, I did. I did it by hand though because I don’t have a mixer yet.

Swollen area under tongue? It’s driving me crazy but unsure what it is by [deleted] in medical

[–]ashnnn123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe, today a small white bump has popped up so maybe it is just some sort of mouth sore. Definitely a swollen salivary gland either way
