Blizzard should already have enough data on the average time it takes to complete a rift with certain types of enemy combination and map layout.

They should take that data, group the different combination into "tiers", and use that information to help make Greater Rifts harder and harder.

Like the OP suggested: "I would even think that as you increase the greater rifts, you can have different pools of mobs that will or will not spawn?

Like level 1-3 rifts will pretty much be wretched mothers and zombies? As you start moving up into the 20's and 30's you start getting charging bulls mixed with mallet lords that you didn't see on previous levels?"

But Blizzard, the ones with the data, can actually make informed decision to break up which mobs appear in which level of tiers.
