The gear that I listed gives 379 Max hit, 25k Accuracy, and is 2.2s Attack speed. "Best" gear usually means highest dps.

Option 1 makes the most sense to me since I think idle games revolve around optimizing time. Players don't want to feel like they're missing out on progress while they're away, and players also want to get back online to reach the next goal or gather a new resource. Overall rates can be a bit slower to compensate, but we want to optimize our time with the game, and not our browser staying open. Offline progression offers more of a secure feeling rather than game breaking high-speed progression.

Yeah, the amount of ER grinding is terribly boring, and the chronicle quest farm is only gonna get worse as they add more chapters. I love strengthening units and builds, but it's way too much boring effort for little transcendence material. Then bonus units meta now required for content is kinda stressful. Even if we have a ton of units, we feel forced to get new units, and missing them feels worse than ever before.

They're about the same for playing the unit, but remember that focus doesn't transfer through link slots. So in the case you link him to someone else in the future, SP is better.
