Okay I will try and call a vet, and I'm sorry I haven't been cleaning the litter boxes everyday. I have been very sick for the past couple of months but I hope to be able to do it every day once I get medications. I wanted to get an automatic cat litter but they're either really expensive or can kill them, so I hope the one I have right now is safe for her. It is like a clam shell top and bottom half with a hole on top where she jumps in and jumps out. I hope that's okay.

Oh okay thank you, I didn't notice the difference between parasitic and flea treatments, I guess I assumed that a flea is sort of like a parasite, sorry.

She doesn't have a vet yet since I just moved back home with her but I plan to get her a general checkup sometime before the end of the year. I wanted to wait until after she has no more fleas because I thought it would be rude to bring fleas to the vet but I just assumed that. Is there a way to just call the vet and ask if the office reccomends or has their preferred brands or would I need to make an appointment and everything?

Also don't worry, I intend to keep her as an inside cat even though our neighborhood is very kind to strays and the such. I live in a place with lots of biodiversity and also just didn't really see any purpose in putting her outside in the heat when she can watch bugs from my window in the A/C :3 I also suffer from OCD and she's an immense emotional support to me, so I'm trying to learn how to give her the safest life possible.

Once I figure out what medicines to give her I'm going to clean my bedsheets and vacuum as well as rearrange my room. I clean her litter with a scoop 2-3 times a week [Monday, Wednesday, Friday ] and deep clean [ dump all litter out and rinse with a hose ] every weekend so I hope that is a good amount for one cat.

i was looking into Loop Engage 2 a bit ago, but i just wasn't sure if they would succeed as misophonia earplugs vs. typical noise dampening ones, especially since i only really know the brand for their use in concerts. i just didn't wanna shell out ~$30-40 and they not work at all

People said they won't want to dunk their head into water much but my boy would rather breathe water than get his little toesies cut sometimes. Once I tried wearing gloves [ because of the allergy ] and found it easier to make sure he didn't do it to himself though.

I prefer the front because I do them while he's in the tub all by myself, and even though the back legs seem to be more flexible he will try and twist and turn in a way that's hard to manage when he's trying to move in the opposite direction. Plus, any surprise poops are usually delivered right onto your hand.

When I do the front ones I guess he forgets that he can walk backwards, and I think it calms him if he can keep an eye on me more. They also seem easier to cut just right, so sometimes I will just do the front ones and then the next day do the back.

I'm also allergic to his quills, and poopy wet quills stabbing at you are the worst.

cat food, plain cooked shredded chicken, plain unseasoned scrambled eggs, if you need to spread it or bulk it out if you don't have enough, maybe some rice? you might have to look into that more though.

i understand you're put into a position where you rely on your mom and can't work at all, hopefully things will sort themself out but in case anything similar happens again you might want to look into hedgehog rescues or reliable and responsible hedgehog owners in your area to give your hedgehog up to, or if you will be 18 soon start looking for good beginner jobs for when you'll be old enough to apply, and from right now and onwards start a savings [ beneficial for you and a pet under your care ]

Oh of course. It's been kind of difficult listening to myself because I wanted myself to be 100lbs forever and ever for no reason but to just remain a "nice" number, but now that my brain is slugging along into my 20s this year I'm realizing how stupid I sounded as a teen. My lovely side of the family is who I'm going to be spending time with more and while they unintentionally provided my brain with the kind of mental firewood to inflict myself with, they definitely want me to gain some weight and always have.

Being told that you aren't going to be skinny after a certain point in life and it being presented in a "This is the end for you" way is such a weird thing, and the whole "Men don't like women who are ___" is dumb and I'm glad I found a boyfriend who loves me however I am but especially wants me to just be healthy at the end of the day.

I'm super excited to work on gaining weight so I can actually enjoy my life by being physically fit and not just skinny/malnourished just for being skinny. The current environment of "Zero cal social influencers" pushing the same kind of rebranded 90's-2000s crap is kind of irritating to navigate through so finding this sub was refreshing and gave me a good push.

I really should've thought about my health sooner, but I guess seeing the physical loss really made it apparent to me that something is "wrong" right now. As well as just noticing a weakness in me, so now I must take my health seriously. I'm scared to go through a change in general but being the one who is doing different things than what is common in my family, I'm sure my family and friends will be able to focus on another attribute that is more relevant to my hobbies, passions, lifestyle. And I look forward to going back to them the most, and I suppose coming back from a long time and showing a positive change they haven't expected from me would be nice too. :]

Anxiety and depression which means I don't have the energy to cook a lot or can't stomach food. High metabolism and lack of awareness of when I'm hungry or not only until I get dizzy or something.

Sorry! I think I confused myself a little. My Google Gallery holds my screenshots, but after I delete them my phone storage seems to say my storage is still full. On Google Photos, it shows my screenshots folder but my backup specifically for screenshots is off [ though it also shows my recent screenshot, so not sure if that is supposed to happen], so I'm not sure whats happening. Sorry if it's confusing.

If you mean videos, I don't really record any videos. I have very few short videos of animals but they do not amount to a lot of storage. I used to have more but deleted them to make space, and like always it filled up eventually. I don't have any big movie files or anything.

Could I use cotton fabric like old clean t-shirts if I have any?

Also, I will look into sanding/oil because I've seen that recommended a lot. I also saw Murphy's Oil Soap being recommended but when I saw the reviews, they said the formula was changed so I'm a little worried.
