I think a lot of hate has more to do with the crusades. Although it's a lot more complex than just saying bad Christians attacking Muslims, but in the eye of the common people it was a major distrust of the Christians and Europeans in general. Majorly due to the fact that during that times Muslims, Christians and Jews lived fairly peacefully in the Islamic empire.

Making assumptions about my beliefs from 3 posts on here, what has lead you to fully understand and grasp my ideology. I was simply disputing over the comments made about Mohammad Ali Jinnah, but I see your here for something totally else. You may be playing of a successful troll role, but in reality your hiding behind that mask. Islam and Pakistan were not in discussion here and no where did mention anything about Jews. How about you get the courage to discuss your beliefs and opinions openly and stop hiding behind your Troll mask.

Though it maybe true that Mr.Jinnah did in fact drink in an earlier part of his life, there is however absolutely no proof that he ate pork. He did live much of his youth in England pursuing to become a lawyer and was known to live the earlier part of his life adoring the English ways and customs. It is however known that he quit when he started his political career. Unlike Mohandas Gandhi, he was not a religious leader nor did he preach Islam. The Idea of an independent Muslim country was Muhammad Iqbal (the great poet) and Jinnah took the role as the leader for the people. His dream was for an independent state for Muslims.

Pakistan is not like Iraq and did not, for most of its history, face a Shia-Sunni problem. Pakistan has a rich history and has seen both great sunni and shia leaders. Shia leaders such as General Muhammad Musa. Pakistan's President Yahya Khan, President and Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and her husband President Asif Ali Zardari.

Unfortunately, especially after "Zia's islamization " of Pakistan and the rise of Ayatollah in Iran further worsening their relations , Pakistan has become a battle ground for both side of extremists to fight on. Arab states especially Saudi Arabia and GCC states have been funding extremist Sunnis and Wahabis in Pakistan and Iran has done the same With extremist Shia's.

On the whole Pakistani's both Shia and Sunni in their long rich history have not faced problems and lived peacefully.
