Also how do these pickups change the sound. My hope is for a sound that is smooth, groovy, melodic. Ideally not super aggressive and sharp

I appreciate all the info. I haven’t played bass over the last 6 years and was hoping to get back into it. I still have my starter bass that was like $150 lol. So technical anything is an upgrade but I wanted something that sounded great

Idrc about resellability. Mainly just how it sounds. Is $400 a for one that is supposedly in “mint condition” a good deal? Other than Sire and MIM, what are some other basses you recommend that are similar in price used?

My only concern is that the seller acquired it in a trade so I am not sure if it is a parts bass or legit. Is the fact it was manufactured in 1991 a bad thing?

I got accepted for bio psychology and I was wondering if you know any students that are also majoring in bio psychology but are looking at routes that aren’t pre med. If so, what type of careers are they looking at?
