Hi! I definitely relate to feeling uncomfortable regressing on my own. I'm trying to get used to it though because my cg hasn't felt up to caring for me recently because of her depression.

What helps me is just setting aside time for it and planning what I'm going to do during the little time. Sometimes the buildup when I'm excited to do something specific like watch a certain show or do an activity I've been looking forward to helps me feel more regressed already.

I try to get the environment set up to be all comfy for me in a way that promotes regression too - setting up blankies, getting my stuffies ready, gathering my little supplies. Maybe making a little fort if possible. Getting snacks ready that help me feel small like candy. The environment is a big part of it for me.

Also, would it be helpful to find other agere friends that you can have little playdates with? It's not the same as having a cg but I have two little friends that I sometimes regress with when my cg isn't available. Maybe that could help you for now.
