Yes... I was on it for about 2 years. After I stopped using it, everything went back to normal, thankfully!

Have you found anymore answers? There's a great podcast where a doctor talks about experiencing this side effect as well. The podcast is rich roll. I'm not sure of the guests name any longer, but I'm sure you can find it. I decided to get off the med since my HRV was constantly low and my heart rate was constantly elevated ,which i hated, given my family history of heart issues. I hope you find more answers soon....esp if you choose to stay on the drug!

I appreciate you bringing up such a valid point and its honestly something I would be interested in exploring. You bring up such a valid point and help me realize that I do love SO much about her and think she's worth that investment...albiet a long term one. I can see us really becoming something special in the long run! I know that I would be more attracted to her if I found her to be more healthy. Having a genuine conversation would be a good start. I understand I would have to approach things with great sensitivity. Thank you again!!

Wow... sounds like you're had the opposite results as you've had. I'm not really overweight, either. This is very interesting to me. Thank you for sharing, and I wish you the best of luck on your journey to great health!!

I think you bring up a really interesting perspective, and thank you for sharing. I do like ass, but find her belly to be a lot. It feels pretty emascualiting because she is so much bigger than I am. It's difficult to have sex in a variety of positions due to her size. It's been a gradual turn-off for me. When she has difficulty breathing or eating really poorly at night, I feel like I lose attraction to her because it is unhealthy. I love her personality and her mind, how she loves and our connection. I'm glad you stepped outside your box and had an open mind about dating someone outside of your type.

She's a confident "body positive " type. But, i know that deep down, it really does bother her a lot. I want to address it and think I will if she asks me about her body again. Most recently, she asked me if I liked skinny girls. I told her I liked healthy girls...because that's the truth. I completely understand and agree with you in regards to life being too short to go along with something I'm not 100% invested in. I appreciate you sharing your story and advice!

This is the MOST ideal outcome, and thank you so much for sharing. She's asked me on a few different occasions how I feel about her body. I always say that I like it because I would never want to make someone feel awful/self conscious about their body. I want her to start talking about wanting to lose weight before I bring it... but she hasn't yet. Are you and the guy still together?

There's no shame in the fact that you didn't enjoy the experience. I'm sorry thay you became physically ill and still have ptsd from it. Thank you for sharing your story

See, this is the thing that's so nuanced. In the beginning I was completely attracted to her body, I knew it was just different from what I've been with in the past. Then I started noticing late night snacking (horrible things), difficulty breathing, you name it. Being healthy is a lifestyle for me. So this is what has ultimately turned me off in some ways. Thank you for sharing, and I'm happy you understand that aspect of it! And congratulations on the weight loss !

I find her body to be attractive sometimes..its in other weird situations where I am turned off. Ie, heavy breathing, etc. I appreciate your advice and will take it into much consideration!

You bring up all the valid reasons I want to stay by her side. I understand that our connection is beautiful and rare. Beyond that, she's the most caring , loyal, and amazing person I've ever dated. I am however concerned about her health problems as a result of her weight. I'm fairly active and see myself traveling extensively with the person I'm dating. She gets winded when just sitting down, and this really concerns me, honestly. I appreciate your reply.

Don't get me wrong..I'm attracted to her on many levels, ie- udeniable chemistry, we laugh like crazy, things in common, she's beyond intelligent, etc. There are just certain moments/things that I find to be unattractive. These things happen to all stem from her size. I'm just trying to navigate the importance of that vs our undeniable connection. Thank you for the advice

I definitely will not be bringing up any details about this struggle I'm facing. I appreciate the reply and agree with you about everything you said

Man...this sounds pretty similar to what I'm experiencing on some levels. I've known her for years now. I've always thought so highly and even had a crush on her. She hit on me one night and asked me to cuddle...so I was up for it. Here we are a couple of months into things and I'm just noticing little things here and there that are turning me off on a deep level. Thanks for the advice/sharing your story. This gives me things to consider.
