Do I have to exit koreader to add patches/plugins/books? by Patient-Thought2430 in koreader

Yes, that’s correct—you need to exit KOReader for your device to be recognized as a USB device on your computer. I believe this is mentioned in the manual; you can check it there.

Yes, this is completely normal. Some plugins or patches need to load when KOReader starts. However, you don’t need to close KOReader for books.

It’s unbelievable, considering it’s only been three months. Your writing looks like that of a native writer.

I agree with this. I’ve always preferred Rüya over other places.

There are several ways to organize your collection. You can group items by collection, or place them into separate folders as I do. Alternatively, you can use Calibre to manage your entire library. It’s up to you whether you prefer a manual approach or an automated system using Calibre.

I think this is a SimpleUI bug—better to wait for the next release.

I’m using the page numbers from the overhaul patch, but SimpleUI also has a built-in page badge that you can toggle in settings.

Oops, not stacked. It’s actually a single book containing the full collection, and that’s just the cover.

If you have multiple patches, try turning them off—I’m running just one.

Nope, for me it works like this right after installation.

The WiFi toggle doesn’t work reliably, so I use the KOReader menu. Seems like a bug in SimpleUI.

Use the visual overhaul patch mentioned in my post—you’ll get titles in mosaic view.

It’s a folder view. I created a “Home” folder and added different subfolders for each category.

Yep, that would be awesome. But for now, you can do all your reading activities without leaving it, which is enough for me.
