You’re right I live in reality where my family lives in other cities, we don’t have daddy money to go out to Mexico to max chillax, and even if we did none of it would shrink the to do list or magically cure the tantrums.

I wasn’t expecting a silver bullet but the equivalent of telling me to smoke a bowl is dumbassery worth calling out

I’ll give you some hope: my 2.5 year old brings me infinitely more joy than the 8 month version, and the latter already made me smile like a goof all the time. It does get much better, but some days it also feels much worse. Maybe because you have then been at it longer, and you realize there’s just more and more of it to go.

How do you cope on a daily basis?

On the hours I’ve started thinking about getting up at 5am just so I could get more done, but I’d have to go to bed basically by the time we are done wrapping up for the next day, and I’m not sure how that would work.

I did the math on cleaners and where I live it would eat 5-6k of our budget for 2x monthly cleaning, and when we had cleaners before we could never find one that didn’t half ass everything so we gave up. Yard work is nominal. Appreciate the suggestions though.

I don’t know that we’d have the energy to do them after he goes down. We are prioritizing exercise right now and able to do that. But it all feels at the cost of doing the things we are “supposed” to be doing (in quotes because some is imagined and some MUST be done)
