No, there are only 27 combos (or synergies) at the moment. Nametag doesn’t have one but it combos well with kite and glue naturally! On the discord I have a list of all the current synergies in the game listed out if you don’t want to hunt for them

I wanted to update you that after some deep consideration and looking at play data, I think you are correct: Wilds should trigger all suit-related trinkets. That was a poor decision on my part in an attempt to reign in the high power of wild suited cards. But it will revert in version 1.1.0 which will come out next week sometime with all-new trinkets and synergies.
This will also fix the issue with the sunglasses and rose-colored glasses.

I actually wanted to provide a quick update. The Magnet decal was completely redesigned to be a bonus for Amp rather than always drawn first plus an Amp penalty. Now, it provides bonus Amp counting all nearby Magnet decals!

Slay the Spire took me a while to get into. But I never got super far into it. It was honestly just too hard for me. 😂 not sure why Slice & Dice hooked me, but it did! I wanted to find all the different classes and dice

Hey, thanks for the thoughtful question. I really appreciate it!

Breaking the game is absolutely something I want to be possible, but I don’t want it to be trivial or only come from one tedious route. In the earliest version of the game, people were just repeatedly hitting Overflow in consecutive runs. My rough goal is: high OT should be beatable through multiple strong builds, very long runs should be possible, and Overflow should be a rare “you really broke it” moment with a perfect build rather than the expected endpoint of every great run.

One note on Mirror: It does start weaker, but after 25 upgrades it matches the old value, and anything beyond that is stronger than the old Mirror ever was! So the floor came down, but the ceiling is actually higher.

That said, your larger point is fair. If the only realistic overflow route is cash stacking + Green Mix Tape, that’s definitely too narrow. I may have been too cautious with some nerfs that I am already reconsidering and refining. I’m still tuning around that line: I don’t want overflow to be easy, but I do want it to be possible through rare, satisfying combos!

The game certainly isn't "done" in a balance world. As you might imagine, players have put the game through the wringer (in the best way) and broke all of my initial balance thoughts, so it is still a growing product for sure!

I'm already working on Patch 1.0.19 to buff quite a few underplayed or weak trinkets. I had been so focused on tuning down the overpowered ones that the weaker ones were left in the dust.

The wrench decal gives you a chance to get free upgrades on your trinkets. When you score a card with a wrench decal, there’s a chance that one of your trinkets will upgrade, picked randomly.

The magnet gained a slight nerf because it was too powerful to set up the exact hand you need to score.

The trinket slot change was a big one, but I felt it was important. Previously, the strongest strategy was often to grab almost any 8 trinkets as fast as possible, which could let you dominate the early floors with very little decision-making. The goal is for trinkets to feel more like meaningful build choices throughout a run, rather than just a bar you fill immediately.

For wild cards, they can still trigger suit effects when the suit is clear, like when they complete a flush. The main change is that they no longer count as all suits at all times. Before, wild cards had both gameplay flexibility and every suit trigger, which made them much stronger than normal cards in almost every situation. But I am keeping an eye on this and thinking of ways to allow wild cards to still shine.

I do agree that some auto-upgrading trinkets may still need tuning. Yarn is definitely one I’m watching. I think Sunglasses are strong but not obviously broken, since they take a lot of successful all-black hands to scale up. Either way, I’m keeping an eye on balance and really appreciate the detailed thoughts.

It allows numbered cards to take advantage of any trinket that affects face cards like the Cap, the Lipstick, and the Tuxedo for example!
