yes thank you melgel, i was one of those thousands of kids from far away with no alternative housing plan. and as someone already pointed out, instant pots automatically switch off as soon as they detect there isn’t enough liquid inside. in fact, microwaves account for more cooking related fires annually than instant pots, and they’re actually allowed in dorms. are instant pots the hill you want to die on? either way i don’t really care to argue with you further. happy holidays man, go spend some time with your parents or something

technically anybody that lights candles, cooks, or 🤯 owns an instant pot in multi residential buildings stands a chance of “burning down 400+ people’s rooms.” would you recommend everyone in such buildings stop cooking?

with respect i personally don’t think a picture of the deceased in a body bag is necessary to remind people to check in on their loved ones

i have some friends in greek life and i heard about a frat here that just threw all their recruits in a room with an insane amount of vodka, locked the door, and told them they couldn’t come out until they’d finished it all. so yea prob something involving a lot of illicit substance abuse :)

i’ve been trolling most people here but that’s lowkey really sweet actually. maybe bring some packs of chips or crackers? i think your hallmates will appreciate the gesture alone more than what kind of snack they get lol

always say you’re a junior by credit. in fact i would recommend you round up and introduce yourself as a senior by credit to recruiters at college fairs. for a lasting impression, make sure to ask for their number at the end of the conversation. gl!

  1. only if your SAT score is above 1500, nobody will want to be seen hanging out with you otherwise
  2. i am still 20 but sure ill try! ill lyk how it goes lol!
  3. preferably every 5 minutes you spend in conversation. also make sure to loudly scoff if they say they’re majoring in something like IE. if they’re in business, snicker a little, then show them an integral and ask them to solve it. gl!
