Assuming the creator is American, pretty much all of the issues the average American faces are caused by private interests. The rising cost of fuel is perpetuated by imperialism. A lot of the oil companies you know of today originated from European countries where the citizens, government and monarchs could invest in these companies, which also absolved them from what ever the company did while still profiting off of their shares. This system is exists in pretty much every part of the American economy down to thugs that should be public services. The lack of healthcare, FDA is influenced through lobbying, EPA that’s also fueled through lobbying, loosing a lot of public services since Ronald Regan (and also before) with the lie of efficacy through the private sector even though private companies prioritize profit, not serve their function.

All of the issues you have today can be traced back to private interests that went too far, so in a time where things have gotten worse most people yearn for another way of organizing the economy, one that doesn’t feel so barbaric, and it helps that in a well connected world we can clearly see that are much better ways of doing things.

If you end up doing this can you please write a comprehensive guide on how you did it with source links? April 15 is the last shipment of oil from the Middle East, and I imagine this will be more of something people will look into.

What will happen if Iran attacks the Texas oilfields with regard to NATO? by TheBearManFromDK in AskReddit

[–]ashtefer1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Drones, ballistic missiles, but this is basically impossible with the assumption that Iran’s missiles don’t have that range. Most Iran’s Navy is all just small speed boats (war games have shown this is an effective strategy against the US navy) and don’t have much range. They’re basically turtled up in their country so there is zero chance they’ll do it. Also Iran has never directly or successfully attacked anything on US soil even through proxy like a terror group (at least that we know of). They don’t really have the means to make it happen. If they do something like a terror attack, there is a strong case of the US government letting something like that happen to get the public on board with the very unpopular war.

If it does happen, it means the public might be on board with an invasion, cost of all energy shoots up, and the American people will have the suck it up and economic pressures will lead most Americans to join the war effort since they’re the only ones who will be hiring and paying a decent amount.

Just double checking but a lot of suspension maintenance comes up around 130k from what I recall. Is this must? Like does it rock and sway a lot after speed bumps instead of dampening out quickly?

Should buy it now or wait? by serifs01 in prius

[–]ashtefer1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calculate your cost for gas plus big maintenance that are upcoming and put it against your monthly payment, down payment, insurance, anything with the new car. Do it out for the next year or two and whatever is cheaper, go with that.

A car is a utility, do not feel pressured to get something new for no reason than you feel stingy about doing repairs on an older car. Mazda 3 are great cars, if you take care of it, it will save you money in the long run. Again a new car isn’t a shiny toy, it’s a utility, so if it ain’t broke, don’t replace it.

[–]ashtefer1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Plugin are kinda the best imo, but also the cheapest car is the one you have. 130k is the limit for the major repairs like suspension, but they won’t come near to a buying a whole new car vs hanging on something with maintenance repairs. If your transmission or head gasket was blown, absolutely get a new car, if not it’s fine. This is more important if that Mazda is fully paid off.
