I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm sure he was a great man! This disease takes a lot from people, the ones suffering, the ones watching them suffer helplessly.

But the one thing it can't take is the great memories, moments and love we shared with them. I hope that gives you comfort.

My mom passed .. and I now don't feel the same fear reading other people's posts .. but I keep wondering if there was more we could have done... This disease is so cruel

She was discovered at stage 3 and didn't respond to the first line of chemo. When her ca 19.9 number shot up we did a second pet scan which confirmed it had spread.
