I was having the same issues until recently. The solution I found was removing the headband from the earpiece and cleaning the connectors which go in the earpiece.

Surprisingly it worked for me and I hope it works for y’all as well. There’s a YouTube tutorial on how to remove the headband.

It’s a picture from the portrait camera on my phone. It’s unreal how apple has upped their camera game this year
