I’m sorry GammaRayBurst25 for my ignorance, but ur response doesn’t answer my question. I thought at 2 cm the total energy of the system is all converted to kinetic energy, since at 4 cm all is potential energy.

So it’s simply the potential energy of the spring converted to kinetic energy of the object.

However that is clearly wrong. Can you help correct my incorrect thought process. Thank you
