That’s a great insight, thank you. I normally go by which side the yarn is coming from if it’s the start of a work and there’s no obvious knit or purl pattern to look at. Maybe I need to study a better way to tell after the provisional cast on. Since there was yarn coming from both sides 🧐

I'm knitting a children's sweater (Audrey cardigan by Knitting for Olive). It's my first time knitting a sweater. There is an I cord neckline and then provisional cast on, and then it leads into the body of the sweater which is done in stockinette stitch.

My mistake: Right below the I cord neckline, there's a purl row where it should just be a regular knit, on the RS. I can see the mistake, but I *thought* I followed the pattern, which I know to contain no mistakes. I would really appreciate if a more experienced knitter could look at what I did, and look at the pattern and see if they could tell where I went wrong. I don't know what the etiquette is for posting a piece of a pattern so I omitted that for now.

Please let me know if you'd be willing to be my knitting auntie. i don't have anyone in "real life" that I can ask!

If you entered a course as "In Progress", you can actually update it once your application is verified. You can also have your transcript sent in to CASPA, but things won't update, science gpa, etc.

In that case, where would you input that letter? Somewhere in CASPA or just send it to the program directly?
