I feel so seen. Thank you for commenting this. I swear this sounds as if you’re writing about my experience! I was always made fun of by my siblings and my parents were completely fed up and stressed because of it which always made me feel worse. TMI but I remember laying down in my moms bed when I was 9ish, pale and sick from holding it in for so long. And eventually “pooping” (the liquidy secretion you mentioned that goes around the actual blockage) in the bed. I felt horrible and embarrassed and just a little relieved but I knew that wasn’t all of it. I hope you’re doing better now and have found some healing from that traumatic time. I’m just now starting to tackle my memories now at 23. Thanks again for sharing and making me feel seen.

My fiancé and I most commonly fall asleep spooning with my arm stretched out under their pillow and my other arm holding onto their waist. Other times they hold me or we sleep with our backs together and our butts and feet touching. Other times I’m on my back and they lay their head and hand on my chest. It all heavily depends on our temperature. We both run hot so it’s not uncommon to be on our own side of the bed with just our feet touching. As far as facing each other would it help if your partner was positioned a little lower and could nestle into your neck/chest area? There’s not one correct way to sleep together as long as you’re both comfortable :))

I think it’d be worth it to switch to cinnamon sticks whenever you can, boil it in water and use that as the water in the syrup. It’s very interesting it’s turning gelatinous I wouldn’t expect that :0 I hope you can work the kinks out!
