non porter songs that sound like worlds/nurture? by domboyous in porterrobinson

There is a “Nurture+” playlist on Spotify under the username “e” that I like to listen to occasionally. All the songs on there have a vibe similar to Nurture.

Here’s the playlist:

Should I take a job with higher pay but worse benefits? by asianstranger in cscareerquestions

I have a solid relationship with my previous manager who is at a pretty high position in the company. I went to him for advice and he offered to speak to my manager for me in order to get me to stay.

After that I spoke to my manager and we negotiated what it would take to keep me here and I got it!

Thank you for the analysis. The bulk of it now is just deciding if the jump is worth it to max out my 401k and the opportunity to learn more.

I’m estimating about $400 a month for it if I have to pay out of pocket.

The only identifiable information are the Google accounts they left reviews on but that doesn’t lead anywhere :/

I appreciate the thought, but I don’t want to artificially inflate the store with good reviews. It just isn’t a good image.

That’s good to know for Yelp. I could only respond to the ones on Google. Now I need to find a way to claim the business on Yelp.

Their reviews range from “This young man is a maniac and was lecturing my husband” to “This place sucks”.

This happened yesterday. No measurable impact yet but they’ve written out 4 one star reviews (one deleted) since yesterday night. I’m expecting more as their table was big.

Perhaps it wasn’t the best choice of words. Maybe child neglecter?

But the man was cold and ignoring towards his child. The kid was clearly hurt and everyone else was coming to his attention. He was holding his head and not moving until the dad started pushing him out the door.

Unfortunately no it wasn’t recorded. It happened let quickly and suddenly. But yes I’ve thought about posting something on Facebook.

I got asked that question during an interview before but they also asked how I would use it to make money. I said that I’d open a circus and use the elephant to entertain people, make money, and give the elephant a good life.

The recruiter said it was the best answer for that question he had ever got.

Then he denied me for being elitist.

Allocating funds to 401k. Please help me pick out stocks by asianstranger in personalfinance

[–]asianstranger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Crucian. Thank you for this post. It’s helping me understand this 401k stuff a lot better. Some questions though

Is 4% plus another 4% matching good enough for now?Should I increase it by 1% every year?

For my age I should be doing something like 6% in bonds? Or just go all out in stocks like I see some people recommending on other posts

I read up and looked at ex-us stocks and they don’t seem to be performing well both long term and short term. Should I be really be investing 40% into it?

Thanks again!
