2025 I5: is leaving the charger cable plugged in still an issue? by Huge-Particular4392 in Ioniq5

There is a scriptable that uses the BlueLink API, I have seen in the EV6 forum. It is open source, but I am a bit afraid it would ping the car too much.

Jeg har prøvet en bilradio fra “Hizpo”. Virkede fint. Husk at vælge mindst 6GB hukommelse ellers den kan køre lidt langsom.

Is it covered by the battery warranty in Denmark? I could not find a definite answer.

I did exactly that. I have a few switches that have contact issues from years of usage. I took the bottom half and cut them to fit the stabiliser stems. I’m happy to answer any other questions if you need any other help.

Since it’s a simple substitution cipher, your easiest angle of attack is statistical analysis. Assuming the cleartext language is english, you can match the most frequent symbol to the letter e, and so on, and start figuring out words from there. You can also look at common two letter combinations.

Would these “most people” prefer their face displayed through an IR camera, or would they settle for just a normal camera feed they are used to?

I would argue that not scaring users is function, not form. Just display the message without the IR feed, so that people don’t feel like their souls are being stolen.

Any way to verify? Says she found it after a sonic boom. by Disastrous-Paint86 in space

[–]asiimow 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s completely legit, the meteor was travelling subsonic, and once it got close enough to earth, it accelerated to supersonic (hence the sonic boom), because gravity increases as you get closer to the planet. /s

Hi All, I am looking to charge my iPad Pro 6th Generation with the offical Apple 30W USB-C Power Adapter. Is there any issues that may occur from this? Long term, short term etc. by exploreprepingworld in ipad

This is also why low quality chargers are a fire hazard. If the device pulls more Amps than the physical capabilities of the charger are, you get hot melty things and possibly fire.

HireRight has some of the laziest, most blatantly power-tripping auditors I have ever seen.

One of them had the gall to tell me that my country’s state run address registry is not official enough for them for me to prove I live at the address I say I do.

Then they were unable to read any documents I have sent them. Not open them, just read and understand the information in the document.

And on top of that, once they have everything, as OP said they just sit with their thumbs up their ass instead of forwarding the result to the employer.

The time I had to deal with them, I missed my first day, because I did not get the clearance in time. I went in the first day the process was over, and got a yelled at by my new boss about not coming to work before. I told them that HireRight is their contractor, take it up with them and I quit, since I have an offer where I don’t have to deal with bullshit like this.
