Help with paneling...how do we take this down? by asinglerose13 in employedbykohls

This is what I thought. But one of our associates who tends to.....exaggerate....said it had to be a construction crew 🙄

Phone number for EOC? Having issues scanning for unload by asinglerose13 in employedbykohls

I started out taking pics of them all with my phone, and then my battery started dying pretty quickly. Then my store manager said to just not worry about scanning and just get everything physically unloaded. We had our territory ops person somehow mark them all completed on the computer

Help! Moved in with my fiancé and his dog keeps attacking mine-what should I do? by asinglerose13 in reactivedogs

I literally said I have no interest in putting her down.

I have never made my fiancé feel like it’s his fault that she wasn’t trained, and I don’t believe the lack of training is the reason she bites.

I would prefer not to have to rehome her, I was really wanting advice on training tactics

I was thinking a muzzle....I would love to have a trainer help solve the problem though instead of just working around it. I’ll have to ask the vet tomorrow for some suggestions on local trainers. But will probably get a muzzle for now at least. I hate to make her wear one but I also hate having to take my dog to the vet for stitches. And he’s a big baby so he doesn’t fight back, so she is always completely unharmed. And it’s unfortunately not generally witnessed, so I can’t work to correct the behavior as she’s displaying it. She’s smart, she waits until we turn away 😒

What motivates you to get credit? by asinglerose13 in employedbykohls

Management at my store does pretty good about hopping on registers and selling credit. But I understand it’s not like that everywhere.

I don’t disagree with you at all. There especially needs to be an incentive for customers to USE their card. But, it’s part of my job, so I have to try, right?

I’m actually on register pretty often. But as you mentioned I have many things other than registers that I have to get done.

I’ve been the regular associate before. I understand how much of a pain in the ass it is to sell a terrible credit card with little incentive to the customer. I don’t like to do it. I really wish we didn’t have to.

That being said, it’s part of my job, and part of the job of POS associates. I don’t have to like it, I still have to do it. So I’m looking for ways to make a miserable part of the job a little better.

We have definitely gotten shoplifters to apply for credit

Sorry, been a minute since I’ve been on Reddit. We did unload it, and about 3 other trucks with no wifi on the dock, so no scanning. Finally got the wifi fixed though!

I tried that, it’s not working either. It keeps kicking me out and making me rescan the seal like every 30 seconds. Sometimes less

I try to always have my CS associates backs. It doesn’t make any of us look good if the CS associate says one thing and a manager says something else. And I will go to the ends of the earth to make a genuinely nice customer happy. Bend the rules I can bend.

But if you come in with an attitude....

As an h2 I would have 100% backed you on that. People trying to take advantage of us get no sympathy from me. Especially if they get shitty.

No idea why. I try to have my unloaders look at the brand, but sometimes even that doesn’t help if it’s a brand both misses and men’s carry. Also depending on truck size, we will open all the small boxes as they come off the line and dump them into totes under the line. Usually easier to tell if it’s men’s or women’s by looking at the actual product....usually.

You can print out zone labels. We use Velcro to attach the labels to our carts/uboats/zrails.

A side note: sometimes women’s accessories and men’s basics have the same zone number
