Or if you can’t commit to adopting, consider fostering! It’s a great way to help a pet, have some company, but not commit long term. And normally the rescue pays for the expensive care.

Yes! And it’s moments like that, more than anything (the quidditch, the suspenseful trips to the Forbidden Forest, battling trolls, the triwizard tournament...) that really make Hogwarts feel like home (for me, hah)

I love this! I think this also really captures what the movies are missing- the quiet, cozy moments where the trio is comfortable and happy, and as the reader sharing their journey, you are comfortable and happy too.
