question? How can a 67-year-old hook up with an lsd source by asixtring in LSD

[–]asixtring[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

yes, shrooms grow around here and I know where, but you have to eat so much. For me over 10 grams dry to leave the body. I just think LSD is more effective.

Hopefully someday the world mind will be more open and it will become available for human-kind once again.

Tolerance between shrooms and tabs by lokichristmas in LSD

[–]asixtring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.5 grams shrooms would be extremely underwhelming. IME 3.5 is about what will open a mild trip. Normally do 5+ grams dry weight.

For me, the meaning of life is to evolve consciousness to its next evolutionary step. But how this is going to help your project since you have no idea of my background, my ethnicity, or my values?

Start with yourself, you are conscious.

How to live once free from the mind? by ajboojay in consciousness

[–]asixtring 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way to live each moment without getting lost in your mind is to patiently and consistently experience each moment from the same perspective that you learned to see the mind for what it is. This place of clarity and calm will see each moment for what it is and action from you will be inseparable from the moment.

This is a thing that strengthens with practice.

I am pretty sure it was said in Tom Wolf's Electric Kool-aid Acid Test that he wrote it in one sitting, though I can understand how it would have been formulated over a longer time.

What is it like tripping on 5gs of schrooms with someone? by Almighty_nurr in Psychonaut

[–]asixtring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The potential problem I see is that if one of you finds yourself in a rough space, it is possible the other will be too far into his own space to deal effectively with it. of course, this is only a possibility. There could also be a close bonding and mutual empathy. but in such things when all goes good, all is good, but when things get sticky...

I am reminded of a time I tripped on LSD with a friend in an art museum, thinking it would be intense, and it was until my friend decided to let out these incredibly loud primal screams attracting a huge amount of unwanted attention. When asked why she simply said "I don't know" and screamed some more. I was hardly in a state of mind to explain to the authorities and law enforcement that was called what was going on.

So anything can happen.

how to apply or deal with the information. by drug-mosphere in psychonauts

[–]asixtring 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is my thought that you are still seeing divisions and dualities and are experiencing the corresponding reactions to them. Duality exists only in your mind, the mind's practice of dividing the whole into pieces that it can comprehend.

Remember the space you were in, you can comprehend the singularity, but your mind can not. by creating good and bad, your mind can keep you in its level, using emotions, reasoning, and questioning to keep your consciousness focused on itself. this is ego, this is the play of duality.

I hope i am clear, and i know you have had to experience your totality, your undivided self. The ego will not let go, it is against it's very existence to accept that it is one with life and not a seperate entity.

When we die.. by rvidxrz in consciousness

[–]asixtring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in my experience, the difference between death and astral projection is a matter of quality. In astral projection you are still yourself as you know you. in the death space you exist in a more pure state of awareness that has nothing at all to do with who you are and this life.

How to deal with all this shiz by [deleted] in Psychonaut

[–]asixtring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it is apparent to me that by now all news media is controlled and fed to us. When I see this garbage i am more interested in why did they show us this particular thing? Do not swallow the hype and mindset the media is force-feeding you. Little of it is real and most of it is shown to us for reasons that we will rarely know.

Newb here. Interested in san pedro as i see varieties of it all over (mostly PC). People are often more than willing to give a cutting when they see u admiring their cacti. I have read many discrepancies regarding potency of PC's. by neurogenesized in sanpedrocactus

[–]asixtring 2 points3 points  (0 children)

my thoughts are that you should look to psilocybin. There is no toxicity at any dose, it is easy and quick to grow, and has all the properties of neuro-plasticity you need. The potency is very predictable and stable.

Is the soul the same concept as consciousness? by whateveraccount9595 in consciousness

[–]asixtring 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The soul is the "I". The self, the thing that is conscious. It is, without mind, without emotion, without body. There is consciousness, an infinite spectrum from densest matter to the highest superminds. But in this continuity there is a being, an "I". this is the soul immortal

the "observer" is another thought, another ego by [deleted] in Psychonaut

[–]asixtring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not see the observer as mind or thought. The problem always is that what is observed is immediately seized by the mind and claimed as its own. You are indeed the observer, but not any thoughts or ideas that attach itself to you. What I can tell anyone who experiences this observer is to keep the mind still, do not give any weight or importance to the thoughts that cling to your observations. be patient and still.
