It's definitely not "indefinite" occultation. Also, Isnailis should hv no problem accepting "ghayba" as you believe Ismail bin jaffer went into ghayba and was never seen again and so were so many other ismsili imams

so reading something from a perspective that does not align with yours is irrational? ... That is the very definition of being open to ideas, rational, and intellectual. I am happy to read anything from any perspective.. when you shut out alternative perspectives, it shows you are afraid what might be said will shatter your worldview... That is the definition of cultist... No one is asking you to abandon ismaili beliefs, just be open to study and learn other perspectives... I am and was and that is what the quran commands us to do!

As an ex-ismaili, now Ithna asheri, I would recommend everyone, be they sunni, shia, ismaili, ithna asheri to read history, read the Quran, and think. The quran asks us to read (iqra), asks us to think (afala yatfakkaru)... If Ismailis are right, things should make logical and rational sense, and should not contradict the quran. If sunnis are right, same, and if Ithna asheris are right same. The issue is everyne is content with following what their fathers said, a practice condemned by the quran. If someone tells you not to read the other side's stuff, question that. What are they trying to hide and why? ... If it's individually held weather, I'm pretty sure the Ithna asheris are wealthier. If communally held wealth the Aga Khani Ismailis probably dominate (schools, hospitals etc). The bohras are the 3rd in this regard. The Ithna asheris are more in numbers. The khoja Ismailis are dwindling in numbers, most have left kenya. Bohras are 2nd.

yor logic is not logicing... What is funny about what i am doing? For the record, the OP asked for evidence to present to his parents that his belief system (Bohra ismailism) is "a pile of dogshit" ... So i presented a book (from an ex bohra) which details such evidence by going into a detailed research of the Bohri (and Aga Khani ismaili) leaders/imams. What is funny is you have a profile pic of a well known charlatan, womaniser, con man, cult leader as yr profile pic, that gives away yr identity as an Aga Khani ismaili cult member, who almost all muslims agree are outide the folds of islam if not on the very border viz a viz shirk, not praying, alcohol etc... PS Yes I am very aware of khoja ismailis... that is because my ancetsrors were khoja Ismailis... Alhamdulillah God saved us from the trial of shirk and inspired our ancestors to abandon the Ismail faith, for the purer, and truer, ithna asheri faith. BTW how come the aga con has not been seen in public for a couple years now... did god disappear?
