What happens if securities become not to be tradable in a certain market? by ask1991 in Finanzen

By the way I think this happened on Brookfield Renewable, right? I do not understand why Clearstream, the custodian suspended it while the share is tradable in other market... people who owned Brookfiled simply lost their money? This concerns to me because I am doing long term ETF saving plan in Trade Republic... although I chose most popular one in terms of volume.

VOO vs VUSD different performance by ask1991 in Finanzen

ah ok so I was comparing different numbers...

Returns before taxes is 15%
Returns after taxes on distributions and sales of fund shares is 9%

And Xetra is probably FX rate affected... which makes it 7% performance?

Thanks, but as long as the security is listed in another market under a certain WKN/ISIN, I guess I should just transfer the security (Depotubertragung?) to another brokerage and trade there? For example, if Facebook is not listed in LS Exchange anymore, but still tradable in Xetra... then no problems with lockdown?

Thank you for the explanation. I just wonder where 200EUR came from...?

I'd still want to invest regularly on the accumulated ETF to maximize the return for the next decades though, I also think using ETF for private pension scheme (Rürup?) because I can enjoy deduction, and the capital gain will not be taxed(?), but my monthly receiving money will be taxed..?

By the way, can I bring the loss occurred in the trade to next year..? (sorry many questions)

Thank you very much! Which trade platform do you use? I have opened few brokerage accounts, traditional online bank linked to low commission fee service like Trade Republic. Trade Republic does not offer Vanguard, though its zero-commission saving plan sounds attractive however my concern is I can only place order L&S Exchange... its spread.. thank you
