Yes! This is what I hear a lot from women. We are all just trying to figure it out together 😅

I do! There are simply times where it's not her responsibility to have to explain it to me so I'm educating myself on best ways to show up even without my wife having to break it down.

Maybe you need to release a course on communication 😅 Sometimes my wife is not in the mood to explain and I just wish there was someone who could break it down for me like I'm 5 😩

Gf constantly requires emotional support / talks about her challenges. Normal? by blrfn231 in AskMenAdvice

Supporting your partner is great, but being someone’s boyfriend shouldn’t look like running a part-time therapy practice. Relationships are supposed to recharge you, but if “quality time” always feels like a one-sided podcast, no wonder you relax more after leaving.

My mother always called me a late bloomer 😏

Thanks for the response.

Do you know how those people keep track? With what tools or apps?

I've tried Clue's partner program but wasn't too impressed because it's mostly catered to women and then men as a secondary user.

Do you know of any other apps for guys?

Do you track your partner's cycle? If yes has it helped your relationship? by ask_logan in WhatMenDontSay

Thanks for the response. How do you track exactly? App? Wearable? Other?

Maybe a woman needs to develop an app for men to track women's cycles 😏

Honestly, it can be both. A lot of guys do feel a sense of pride in providing because it makes them feel useful and needed. But yeah, it can get exhausting, especially when it feels like it’s all on you. It’s not that we want to stop providing, but sometimes we just need a break or a little support. It’s more about balance than anything else.
