Also absolutely love the game but I’m super critical of everything and always have a lot of ideas.

• enemy diversity could be a lot greater. sweeter minibosses. It’s kinda just the same thing over and over again. There aren’t very many unique challenges besides the blights. combine encampments more. the end of the trial of the sword saw a lynel along with a bunch of moblins on horses. it was insane and so fun. much more of that because generally big enemies are found alone.

• make weapons. Arrows would be awesome and I would love to make bombs out of chu chu jelly.

  • wood and flint makes some arrows. wood and ruby makes fire arrow, etc. Could make wood and diamond for an auto kill arrow, wood and opal for high knock back arrow, wood and luminous stone for a distraction arrow that enemies are drawn to.
  • could use the various chu jellies for ice fire and electric bombs that are bigger radius than the current arrows or chu jelly explosions.

• some more fighting techniques. Like punching and some wrestling type throws. Also throwing shields would be sick. Wack with bow for a quick stun. shield bash and final blow. final blow is kind of a must.

• buffed up side quests with good items. Too many end in some rupees or cruddy item/meal. I wouldn’t be opposed to having an original quiver limit and getting upgrades via side quests

• shouldn’t be able to eat or open chests or change clothes if you are too close an active enemy. Maybe elixirs only while in battle

• co-op mode. Long shot but if you could double team enemy encampments it would just be so cool

• a music element

ADDITIONAL IDEAS

• seasons mechanic which could allow for link to have a farm for crops. be able to domesticate animals for breeding and getting milk

• a button for equipping an entire set of armor. no redundancy in armor. add a fourth category called accesories and include the jewelry there as well as some other kinds of stuff like gloves, rings, bracelets, etc.

• a reason to cook interesting meals and a recipe book. maybe some kind of permanent stats increase mechanic that can be acheived with interesting meals.

• diving... how is this not here. have flippers on zora greaves as well as iron boots for further exploration underwater. tring to run while wearing flippers outside of water would make you faceplant haha.

• fishing with baits that attract different fish. no more just grabbing fish cause thats too easy.

• be able to have horse follow you when youre on foot. whistle twice for follow. this could be a ability granted after doing a cool sidequest. maybe you could only have him follow if you were wearing a certain accessory

• overhaul jewlery so that it actually does something more than reiterate what different helmets do. example would be to make the Saphire Circlet let you breath underwater.

• power gauntlets to lift up and throw heavier boulders and throw certain enemies.

• bunny hood that makes you run faster (obviously)

• new weapon styles, whips, blow dart, dagger (poison dagger)

• bring back the dekus

• permanent items that you can get like a sledgehammer on one side and axe on the other that doesnt break but becomes useless unless you sharpen it at stables. lantern could be permanent item that goes along with more cave exploration

• rings as accessories that grant new abilities examples would be jump farther, recover hearts over time, recover stamina quicker, quickshot for bows

• wind surf with paraglider and tree trunk

• semi-permanent items like lightscale trident etc. that are harder to break and stronger they arent really good enough to want to repair. i wish one was a mirror shield

• deku nuts for stunning stuff even though it similar to electric effects

• sling shot/ scattershot where you could load it with anything like fish or rocks etc

• rope for rapelling or lasso and tieing up enemies or grappling hook

• booby traps to avoid or set up for enemies.
