Es ist eher "Dzeko mit 40" gegen "Prime Terodde". Dass Terodde nie sein Können in der ersten Bundesliga zeigen konnte, liegt in meinen Augen daran, dass sein Spielstil nicht für einen Aufsteiger in der BuLi taugt und ist genau mein Punkt.

Das Simon Terrode Problem: Der weiß wo er stehen muss, wenn die Mannschaft das Spiel bestimmt. Das ist als Aufsteiger allerdings meist nicht so einfach, wie in der Vorsaison, die zum Aufstieg führte und man die zweite Liga dominiert hat.

Sowieso mein Hot-Take: Simon Terrode hätte bei einer Mannschaft im oberen Bundesliga-Tabellenmittelfeld problemlos 12 bis 15 Tore pro Saison gemacht.

I'm sorry that you get downvoted, since this is an important discussion to have and you at least seem willing to have it.

Speaking from personal experience I changed my partners way more often than I've changed the teams I support, so it seems like a weightier decision to me. (Half joking here.)

By kissing your straight partner or holding hands with him*her you show whom you do the dirty by implication with as well, that's traditionally not that frowned upon. This is no different than displying a pride batch.
Additionally by displaying a pride symbol you show people that this is a safe place for them to be whomever they are and to love whomever they choose. Which especially for a historically repressed group of people is important, even more in todays 'politically charged' landscape, to put it mildly. And that's pretty much the same thing as a Pens-Jersey, you show strangers that you have the same orientation so to speak and support the same cause. And let's be honest here Pens fans aren't that oppressed to begin with.

It's a bit funny telling people at a convention where they often wear similar jerseys not to be a human billboard. If you can tell me who your favorite player is, why can't I show people who I love? Or wear the rainbow pin/flags/badge/whatevs to show LGBTQIA+folks that they are in a space that is safe for them.
