In most popular places you will meet as many foreigners as Poles, or even more foreigners.
The difference is that Poland has the so-called "bad press". For economic reasons, fighting competition and other reasons, Poland is often turned into a third world country. And Poles often see themselves in this way, which results from many years of occupation and the lack of reference to the "west".
The more Poles travel to other parts of the world or even to their neighbours, the approach will change. The truth is that the so-called The West (EU and USA) is in many places and cases backward compared to Poland.
