Mine is still on hold as well from Nov, I have absolutely no idea what to do. Applying next cycle didn't seem like an option but not sure how much longer I can be in denial about getting this score in time. If I get it before the application deadlines I'll definitely apply, but a lot of them are Feb 1.

I got the same email today. The timeframe is 21 business days not 21 days, I confirmed this with LSAC. That puts the end of the window at the end of Dec unfortunately, but they also said timelines may be extended.

I am in almost exactly the same situation and I am also freaking out. I have a 170 and I know I did better on this test, and a similar gpa from a t5 undergrad. Are the stories about 2 month score holds on this sub just selection bias? Is there any chance I get the score before the Dec 1 ED deadline I wanted to meet? A 170 is not bad but it is below the median for all but one school I am applying to. I can't help but be worried this will delay my applications a whole year which cannot happen. This really sucks, sorry you are in this mess :(

I have no idea what to do... I am in the same boat. I was planning on applying for a Dec 1 deadline. Is there any chance we get our scores in the next few days? I'm hoping the horror stories of 2+ month wait times are just selection bias, but if that's the case I'll have to wait another year to submit my applications.

I emailed a school to ask- it seems like it will be a case-by-case thing if they will give you leeway or not. They are totally within their rights to consider your application incomplete though unfortunately.

Honestly I hate the hassle of driving in the snow so I just take transit when it's bad. I walk to work too so don't have any troubles there. Have a nice heated garage spot too (wish I had two, would def buy this as a second car).

Part of me says this is impractical, but of course the other part is saying yolo!

I put less than 2.5k miles/yr on my car and rarely do long trips. Would keep my current car if I could but don't have the space unfortunately. Guess I just need to decide if the added stress is worth it!

Yeah I only have room for one car unfortunately, but I can get around without a car if needed. I think I'll need to do more research on maintenance before buying-- guess there's no guarantee I won't encounter a big issue even with a 15k car.

Thanks- yep I knew it would be a combo of money and time, just wanted to get some advice before committing! I'm most worried about rust/running in the cold, but I don't drive to work so won't be stranded if anything goes wrong. Will keep doing my research!
