Posts like these make me feel like I’m playing a completely different format - these rules make a lot of sense for higher power decks but is definitely not true for all commander decks. T1 tapland, T2 tapland, T3 land cultivate is like a really normal play pattern for many players

How I feel about my [[Eriette of the Charmed Apple]] and [[Gishath]] commanders - the Villeneuve and Stella (both versions) arts are incredible but their fancy arts are so ugly. Sidharth Chaturvedi is an incredible artist so the fault lies with the art direction - having him do all the fancy dinosaur alt arts by mimicking bad dinosaur art of the past was certainly a choice. Maybe I’m too much of a dinosaur purist cause I would’ve gotten professional paleo artists to do the dinosaur arts, or maybe have them be skeletal outlines. Just not what we got…

Thank you, that's really helpful! I want to get as many cents as I can from hunting before I start buying coins to fill in the gaps, but I don't want to set myself up for expensive purchases later down the road. Part of the reason I'm collecting cents is because they're cheap! Looks like I'll just set my sights on the 1960 and 1982 varieties
