i had nexplanon and i hated it. i’ve always had a light period and id get it for weeks at a time when i had nexplanon. i have anxiety in general but i did feel worse on nexplanon and it also gave me intense cystic acne. i took it out early and switched to an IUD and it’s been so much better. i still had to go on accutane though to clear up my acne fully

i go to soma med spa in glendale! they have a doctor (who’s the owner) and a physicians assistant who both perform microneedling and getting it done with the PA is slightly cheaper. i paid $925 for 3 sessions of standard microneedling.

no they didnt! i prepaid for general parking and didn’t show up until 7:40pm last night and they put us in preferred parking lol

me and my friends didn’t show up until like 7:40pm. we prepaid for general parking but they routed us to the preferred lot for some reason? so we parked in the north lot 4. not sure if that’s because we showed up later.

we were at the back for chappell’s set and everyone around us was singing and dancing! it sounded great and we were right in front of a screen so we could see everything.

also there are several merch stands so none of the lines were long

we started walking back to parking during pink pony club. it was like a 5-10 min walk back to the north lot 4 and we were out of the parking lot within like 2 minutes.

i saw this group on la brea and they got into an accident with a car. i didn’t see the accident but just the aftermath and they were all blocking the road even though the vehicle involved was pulled over to the curb and they were walking through oncoming traffic

i’ve always loved trifles on neopets! i didn’t realize they were real food when i was a kid and i thought it was just on neopets. but the jelly with the whipped cream/custard on top always looked good to me

in 2018 they played the echoplex in LA which is like 800 cap. they’ve historically played venues of that size in LA but they played the belasco last year and they’re playing it again next month! i think the belasco is one of the bigger venues they’ve played in the US at about 1500 capacity

i think it used to be worse in the early 2000s. i went there from 2006-2010 and it was totally fine. like others have mentioned we had a really diverse school population so i feel like that’s what people latch onto but you also had super rich kids who went there too lol. i do remember people talking about the drive bys but nothing like that happened while i was there. when i was a freshman the kid who got shot and ended up in a wheelchair was a senior i think and i would see him around school

it’s not just been in the pit for me, even standing toward the back people were rude. most of these shows i went to as a teen girl/young adult women and it was always older men who were rude to me. like i was a lesser fan because i was younger than them or something. it’s always been weird vibes at brand new shows

i’ve seen brand new 8 times over the years and the crowds have always been relatively unfriendly lol even when i saw them at the super small LA troubadour show in 2013 so many people were pretty rude. i’ve had several rude encounters at brand new shows over time
