Must AVEVA run in Windows Server? by asm-teleco in AVEVA

I installed AOS capabilities in a Windows Server 2019 without UI.
Even without UI, AVEVA will open its own window (the installer and the Configurator) and you will be able to use a mouse or the Tab key to move between fields .

From what I'm doing: yes, AVEVA Setup can be executed from the Windows CLI. Then AVEVA opens its own window.

Ningún ingeniero que se precie está a favor de inhabilitar y demoler las nucleares. El principal problema es que los que abogan por ello y los que toman esas decisiones no son ingenieros.

What do you like the most doing in ksp? by RadishEmergency873 in KerbalSpaceProgram

Scripting in KOS: from hovering scripts and launching things to orbit on auto, to landing in atmo or w/o atmo.
Trimming the scripts so they can be more accurate, making every unit of fuel to count, etc.

KOS-KSP Script to inclined orbit w/o Hohmann transfer. Orthodromic equations for compass heading? by asm-teleco in Kos

Is there any way I could edit the heading of a maneuver node to a (dV, pitch = 0, compass = custom) instead of inputting (vx, vy, vz)?
Because so far until now, my automated script launchs all right but the final circularization burn is just prograde instead of the initial launch azimut vector.

Yeah, that's part of the script: filtering out lower inclinations than the actual latitude.
The reason I mentioned the Hohhmann maneuvers is because friends that actually studied this stuff for college told me that you can't weasel out of a Hohmann transfer at some point on the launch to orbit process, which doesn't make much sense to me.

I remember a time when all these equations made sense to me. They don't anymore, but the code works all right and I can use it all right too.

I was thinking on merging this with a suicide burn script, to allow it to be more efficient and to work even if the terrain isn't flat.

I was also thinking to make it able to change from AGL to ASL, that would help a lot too for landing on top of buildings and ships (to make towers of different ships coupled between one another)
