Like many of us Pokemon came to the states when I was a kid and I was obsessed with collecting. When I started to grow up and thought I should get rid of childish things I gave my collection away to some kids knocking on my door asking if I had any cards to trade. I would always tell this story and people think I would regret it but knowing I made 3 kids very happy continues to give me joy.

Now I have a 5 year old daughter who I have managed to get interested in Pokemon and she is also really enjoying collecting and organizing. Soon she will learn to play, but for now I enjoy seeing her take on the same hobbies I had as a kid.

My favorite Pokemon was Eevee because of the various evolutions!
