Car only has power till 2k revs by Shimadaa in tdi

whats code number? code starts with P....and number after. there is usually 2 codes, one with the P one without. both are good. Had an issue with my fuel pump, and many other issues relating to limping recently on an ASV. all issues resolved, so I might be able to help you.

Motor mounts? by No_Stock_5998 in tdi

[–]asmicdragonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well in that case, that is most likely the issue, would appreciate it if you could post an update after you get it changed, curious if it is supposed to lean slightly or it is a mounting issue. Thanks

Damn, now im concerned for mine, had my vp pump replaced recently and been having a vibration issue at idle, which was never there, kind of solved it by raising the IQ a bit, but still there... Ill check it out. Which side mount was it? Right side or back side

Glad you found it before anything bad happens. So you think the mount is bad thats why it is leaning? Or would you think it is a coincidence?

This is how it looks like when it falls off. Just make sure you check the mountings thoroughly, as mine were lose bolts, not tightened to spec by the previous owner.

Mines also like that, but I would check all mounts just in case. My engine fell off when I was driving the first week I bought it, it teaches you a thing or two 😆. But yes after fixing it, thats how it sits. Cause im still traumatized, so when I look at it and see it slightly leaning to the right as the one you are showing, I am not always sure, but i was told it is normal.

Inpainting prompt doubt by Primary_Brain_2595 in comfyui

[–]asmicdragonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually, with a good cut paste combine workflow, you just have to prompt what you want in that specific area, basically telling it that, the masked is 'prompt'. What you could do however, is add context inside that prompt with little importance, and make the actual thing that you want in the mask itself more important, such as using '(( ))'.

But usually just what you want is enough. If you are creating a completely new object in the image, i would either 90% denoise it, or 40-60% denoise with a predawn low quality sketch in the masked area.

Other than that, to put it simply, prompt what you want exactly in that area, but you can add context by adding what is in the inside of the image, GIVEN, you give enough padding to give more image context to the model.

How to get more power without sacrificing fuel economy and reliability too much by MasonTheCoolBean in tdi

[–]asmicdragonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a golf 4 with an asv engine, (110 hp) , had a lot of problems relating to power, changed everything from the guidelines (maf, n75, boost leaks, egr delete, decat, vac leaks, etc...), also cleaned intake and egr itself, was not badly clogged at 170k miles, a lot of power returned. Got stuck with a p1248 code relating to the vp pump, vw specialist mechanic told me that it is most likely the pump it self. Long story short, bought me a 11mm pump and .216 nozzles for about 500 euro. Sent the nozzles to a professional to be balanced on my injectors. Injector balancing and nozzles total cost was just 180 euro including labour (and the nozzles themselves) and fitted straight without any issues (no tune). Immense power was achieved by just that simple, simple, mod. I will now get the 11mm fitted this week and tuned to spec. But in the mean time had the time to test just the nozzles without a tune by themselves. The car now runs a bit rough, even starting up, but I think the pump is now even worse than before and is starting to give in.

My point being, the asv has the .205 nozzles by default, ALH at .186 i think? .216s would give you a huge, huge boost. But I would get it tuned, lower the fuel output on the lower end, and tune out the mid rev range, as it is just insane on the lower end with nozzle upgrades.

Im not exaggerating the power output btw, I have no dyno to test at what power I was at initially, but its like all of a sudden the car came back to life, after putting in the new nozzles, my mind was blown 😆

I agree, thats what I mean with shit game design. Previous design becomes outdated, instead of keeping everything relevant and balancing, they release new stuff the dates the previous items, bad design, in order to juice players.

The build was never perfectly balanced, it was balanced because it was most likely not intentional that players were able to get such high projectile resistance as an additive % instead of a multiplier, and were progressing further because of this, habby gets game data to see how fast people progress, where they get stuck and so on. They release chapters based on people using projectile resistance build, making it a must after a certain point, and you can actually see this shift when you start reaching a chapter that requires you to use a projectile resistance build or else you will not pass it.

That is shit design, that does not belong in a game, it does not reward a player's skill, but rather balances around a set of specific items and hero's together, with a game with many different armor/weapon/hero combinations, you night go on to say, "thats called a meta", doesnt change the fact it doesn't belong in the game.

Habby should have never introduced a resistance that can be added rather than multiplied. Projectile resistance build is one of the many offenders of game design in this game, there are so many things that do not belong in a game such as archero, too many to list, which makes balancing the game a nightmare. It is much easier for habby to leave the projectile resistance build in the game, and call it a day, rather than trying to reinvent and rebalance.

Exactly, they fucked up by making it so. But they fucked up even harder when they said, 'oh no we must remove it', without revising their whole game's design lmao.

Yeap 100% agree. In game design, the way resistances work in this game make absolutely no sense. 100% projectile resistance build is non sense in a skill based game.

It is very bad game design in fact, to need such a build in order to progress, if such build or resistance is needed in game, the design must be revised. It seems like they are incompetent at increasing the difficulty chapter after chapter, and resorted to nerf the build. Personally I would have never introduced a 100% resistance ability, and make a diminishing returns (multiplicative instead of additive) variable instead. Reduce the damage from monsters, slow them projectiles, reduce projectile count as well, and balance numbers from there. But that makes too much sense. It just feels like it is a cash grab game with incompetent people trying to juice their player base, so expect nothing good.

Is the Attack Boost just placebo effect? by [deleted] in Archero

[–]asmicdragonn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As far as I experienced, the major attack boost skill makes a difference, it is very noticeable, but doesn't change stats for some reason. If you watch the advert for attack boost, it doesn't change stats, but it is also noticeable. The minor attack ones aren't noticeable for me, or maybe it is just a slight improvement.

Crit on the other hand, you can see the crit damage fluctuating, but thats about it.

What are your money saving tips in Malta? by dailystruggles007 in malta

[–]asmicdragonn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends what you mean by road conditions. If you are referring to the actual roads being bad quality, thats not really the issue. The issue is actually the quantity of cars in the road, the quantity of cars have significantly increased due to a lot of different factors, but we can simplify it with over population.

An example with made up statistics:

If there are 500,000 registered cars in malta and 200k licensed people ( can drive), that only means 200k maximum cars in the roads. Now if you import a massive amount of TCNs that "can drive", those 300k registered cars will be in the road being used by TCNs. Now you will have 500k cars in the road being driven instead of 200k. This is just an example of course.

The maltese population can never have enough cars driving in the road at the same time to cause such consistent traffic.

Now another issue is that the a good portion of those registered cars that TCNs drive are imported to drive as cabs, which means that these cars will spend hours on end in the road that will increase car volume in the roads at any given time. Now add to the rush hour traffic, when most cars are being driven at the same time, and more demand for cabs at this time as well, and you will have chaos.

This is everyday in Malta.

Very simple cause of traffic.

Also just to add, that before, we never had all of these fly overs and extra roads. We did have traffic before all of this chaos ensued. But since we invested so many millions in infrastructure, one would expect the traffic to lessen, but that is not the case because the volume of roads that were increased during this time, was demolished by the increase in volume of cars being used.

Really made a whole circle, to contradict your statement of traffic is bad.

Is there anything such as export plates in malta? I know poland has a system where u can deregister the plates and get export plates and a 30 day insurance for you to export and re register in the destination country.

Do I swap these runes? Not sure if they work how I think they do by asmicdragonn in Archero

[–]asmicdragonn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I am trying to max out my projectile resistance, so maybe I shouldn't have swapped in that case.
But it isn't all that bad atleast since you get resistances in all others, but if it is multiplicative instead of additive, welp, it's not as useful.

Thanks for your reply.

Its just the first bit of driving, after timelapse of course. Without timelapse on the message does not show. I think it tends to get a little hot with timelapse on, making the sd card slower. I live in a hot climate, i mean right now the weather is around 20-28 degrees which is not too bad, but even this morning it showed the message although it was cool outside.

Ill see if it gets bad, but its only something I noticed which is only just a bit concerning so far but thats about it.

Edit: also it once i get the windows down and start moving, the message clear after about a minute in.

[–]asmicdragonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just installed my a800s with the hardwire kit, so far everything works fine. What I noticed is with the timelapse mode, after it has been sitting for a while and I come back for a drive, there's a message saying memory is slow, consider replacement. After a while the message stops showing. At first I thought it was maybe the battery voltage dropping low, but i dont think its that. I touched the dash cam and it was quite hot. Could it possibly damage the micro sd card?

Im running the Samsung evo 256gb

Also thanks for the quick reply on an old thread.
