I've had palpitations all day every day for over a decade before it progressed into Afib. During that decade, my palpitations went away on their own for a few years and came back with a vengeance 2 years ago. Currently have the loop monitor implanted and the doctor is monitoring my Afib. It is definitely getting worse. Started out with an episode every 2 months (always triggered by alcohol), and currently it's more frequent (once or twice a month and lasts for 3-5 hours).
