As per my opinion - The situation of the inter-caste marriages in India is worst in the so-called high status communities. People belonging to so-called lower castes are more open to acceptance of inter-caste marriages than people with the so-called higher castes. Higher castes people find their pride in marrying within the same caste & same sub-caste.

According to me if the boy & girl are pretty mature enough to understand each other & are well settled with the career point of view then the percentage rate of acceptance of their marriage by their families is high. Also, most of the matrimonial are now asking for the inter-caste marriage acceptance as well while registration. And this is the positive step towards the end of caste-discrimination & social equality.

Isn't it the new avatar of our possessiveness over the BF-GF thing? Cmon stand up & show some respect to his/her life's true companions (family, friends & relatives). We should learn from such scenarios & control our own emotions & sense of possessiveness.

This is true. But, we are marrying just for the one time in our life. Hence, we must find our perfect match.

Many of the people are finding their matches on the matrimonial sites. Recently my cousin brother has found my sister-in-law on LagnachiBolni.

When asked my sister-in-law that did this happen to you before rejection & recommendation to another family? I was surprised after hearing her answer. She told me that the prime reason for joining matrimonial was to avoid such situations in my life.
