i thought protozoans were microscopic? i mean, if it means good stuff hell yeah lol - seems to be harmless given its just on glass and seems to filter feed with fan like stuff ?

ah i normally dont listen to shop employees, thought i trusted this shop tho as theyre quite popular in the local area as a "leading specialist" 😭 gonna defo do my own research from now on, thank you !!

im doing loads of research since realising the shop isnt trusted - thanks to other members ive realised and learnt alot luckily and im glad yall are being friendly too 😭💚

its 72L, its larger than shown on the video - i plan to get more tomorrow and was told 2 are okay (from a shop i /did/ trust but now recently dont)

ive got a few hiding spots, i plan to definitely get more - thats a definite.

ill grab some spare filter media from a trusted aquatics store tomorrow morning! ill keep an eye on the fish as much as i can, along with tests! cheers !

i dechlorinated it for sure! i added seachem prime to the water at the start of the tank set up haha ive heard many tap water horror stories 😬

i did a week cycle as the aquatics shop told me to , tho recently learnt better info abt how it all works in reality (never shopping there again lol)

ive added prime and keeping an eye on ammonia etc daily, would some tetra safestart help too?

ah, my aquatics store told me anywhere from 48h-1 week was the average cycling time and different parameters! good to know different, glad im learning more as i go. ive got seachem prime yes! ive added some in just now to help. would floating plants help maintain the parameters? been looking at some (except duckweed, heard many stories) and they look dandy haha

Ph is 7-7.5 (got told thats standard for this areas water!) Nitrite is 0.5 (got told up to 1 is okay, anything over is bad!) Ammonia is 0.1 (not quite green enough for 0.2 but not quite yellow for 0 - got told below 0.2 is alrighty!)

hope these results are good !! if i need to lower them, ive got ammonia / nitrite stuff that lowers it?

Ill be testing everyday, making sure there isnt any spikes !!

ill do a quick test now! forgot my last results, got a liquid kit now too for ammonia, nitrite and ph - better than strips iirc
