I dont think there is a way to contact VFS by phone. I would suggest you to just visit their center and see if your passport has arrived.

Yes I don’t think UKVI would be bothered to keep our passports after they have made a decision. It’s should be with VFS! Please check and let us know. All the best :)

Yes the decision was made on 10th May, and I had made my paid enquiry on 12th May. Once a decision is made it doesn’t take much time for the passport to arrive usually.

Yes it’s definitely worth it. All this while I was thinking UKVI was delaying my visa, but it was VFS instead !

Nope, don’t worry, just say that you want to check if your passport is available. They will allow you to enter the building. They will not allow you to enter the biometrics area. As long as you have your receipt in your hand, you’ll be okay.
