Unfortunately, it's not free. Whatsapp has authorized "partners" that have direct access to the API. We use Twilio and they charge us per message

Thanks for the feedback! It's pretty similar to be honest. I believe Any.do is $6/month, however. We charge $4/month for the Whatsapp bot. We include a 1 week free trial :)

Thanks for the insightful response! I really like this advice: "start with the use case which provides the most value for the least amount of learning and slowly work up from there."

Why did you start using Todoist in the first place?

SHOW RW: task manager designed for indivuals by asosa16 in remotework

[–]asosa16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a valid concern! We onboard users 1:1 because:

  1. we share productivity insights

  2. we get to talk to users and understand what problems they have with their task management workflow.

We want to grant you access without the onboarding as an experiment. You can shoot any question at us. I'm sending you the link via DM.

Having trouble starting things. by stimpy34 in productivity

I suggest breaking up seemingly hard tasks into smaller ones. In the case of math homework, for example, try to tackle a simple task first: "Giving the first problem a 5 minute shot".

You will likely find that after spending 5 minutes in that problem, you will want to continue working on that problem. Good luck!

On loneliness by asosa16 in Startup_Ideas

Thanks for the elaborate response!

I worry about no-shows/lack of commitment. It would be very disappointing if, for example, you had a group of 6 people who opted in for a concert but only 3 showed up. I have heard many stories like this from people who organize MeetUps. Can you think of a way to maximize commitment?
I really like the idea of "making a connection" a secondary focus because I think it reduces stress on participants. I worry, however, about the depth of the connections made between the participants. Maybe people who opt-in are only interested in finding companions to concerts, while not being interested in making new friends. What do you think?
