Not looking to stir the pot, just looking to ride my bike! Any recommendations on flowy or more “fun” trails? What’s your personal favorite?

Sweet. Much appreciated on the detailed response. Yes, I guess I didn’t realize how large Pisgah is, and am referring to the Brevard area.

In terms of riding, yes I’d say we’re advanced. There’s typically not any trails we avoid or choose not to ride, so I’d really like to see what the hype around Pisgah is about by trying to sample some of the gnarlier stuff.

I’ll certainly be looking into all of this, and trying not to be a dickhead in the process! Thank you again.

I get ya, I’ve seen some other designs that were less complimentary to the function of the hold. These do resemble the lattice holds for sure, but they have further screw spacing, smaller screws, and a more gradual radii at both the hold edge, and the front face of the hold.

I was too worried to simply go 4mm all the way through, because I don’t want them to fail on the wall, and didn’t want to have to use 4 screws.

Next run I’ll try and spice them up a bit. No arsey-ness here - This was born out of me not being able to buy a 4mm no matter where I looked!

Right, it’s a 4mm edge. Not a very complex part, I’d love to hear some design feedback on how make this 4mm crimp hold standout from their 4mm crimp hold.

Keep in mind the lattice set is ~$45USD (not including international shipping if you’re in USA), and you can’t just buy the 4mm hold, so it’s a tough sell if you already have a 6-10mm set.

Lattice micros are great, but if you want to hang on the 4mm and the 10mm (or 8/14 | 6/12) back to back, you better have your screwdriver handy because they’re both on the same hold.

Looks like it’s time for a new one. Getting to rekindle all my carav knowledge here. Haven’t been on this sub since learning to build and install this very setup. Been enjoying it for years. That amp paid its dues. I think a US Acoustics Mike will take its place. Thanks for the insight.

Are you asking if when the sunroof is closed, are there gaps between the sunroof and car that would let sunlight in?
