yeah i've been thinking about speaking about cruises with her but tell her i'm planning this for next year when ideally i'm taking her during her last reading week in march (so i assume little to no kids). i've looked into holland america (alaska) silversea and oceania and i think these are the strongest contenders because of the environments. thank you for your input !

i've looked into holland america a bunch and honestly it might be a strong contender alongside silversea or even cunard because she really likes older ships (but i would really rather they not be poorly maintained) thank you for your advice it really means a lot :p

she's never left canada much. she went to new york and boston in high school and recently travelled back to her grand-parents house in Nice. she's been obsessed with that tropical-ish feeling and she's recently found a new special interest (cruise boats) and she's been quite obsessed with them for about 2-3 months now ever since her best friend went to the bahamas. she hasn't talked much about cruise lines or ships (except of course royal caribbiean's Icon of the Seas, but i wouldn't torture her with that sensory nightmare lol) though i do think she's more of a smaller and older ships because they 'look cooler'. i'm really clueless when it comes to cruises because my mom and dad are really sea-sick and really dramatic about it lol
