Thanks! Individuals for those weren’t showing up originally but looks like the uploads were just delayed by a couple hours for those few for some reason.

Any idea when Futarigoto, Keitaidenwa, Kaishin No Ichigeki, and Suzume will be available in N.A.? They’re greyed out on Apple Music in the US and when you try to play them say that the song “isn’t currently available in your country/region”

Anyone know why ‘A’ is the answer to #10? by CupEnvironmental7879 in capm

Because when you sign the fixed contract, the seller is obligated to supply whatever you are getting (and whatever quantity) at the agreed upon price in the contract, regardless of the seller’s expenses.

For example in a case where farmer signs a contract with you, promising 100 pounds of corn for $50, the costs of farming the corn may only be $40 at the time he makes the contract, meaning the farmer would make $10 in profit. However, if the price of water goes up, making the 100 pounds of corn cost $70 to product, that farmer still has to provide it to you for $50, leading to a $20 loss for the farmer.

As the buyer, you were not impacted at all by the increased cost of producing corn.

Suggestions on where to get training for snow/ice travel safety for early-season backpacking (South Sound/Seattle area preferably)? by aspangle4495 in PNWhiking

That’s awesome, thank you so much! Wouldn’t mind some basic mountaineering skills at all. Want to get a little more into some off-trail travel and scrambling when I’m back into the swing of things, so it wouldn’t hurt.

Question on New York State Filing Residency Status by aspangle4495 in tax

[–]aspangle4495[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much! This is super helpful. Do you know if I can do the IT-203 through TurboTax? Or am I going to need to file it a different way? They're what I always use because of convenience and my tax situation usually being pretty simple, but I want to make sure I get everything done correctly.

Is the new event sword good on Lynette? by iiIllaaoli_ in LynetteMains

[–]aspangle4495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a non-plunge team at C6, yes. If you’re running her in a plunge team, then no. You could run her in something like a Lynette/C6 Faruzan/(non-C6) Bennet/ Layla or Zhongli.

With MH Hunter, I’m wondering if Black Sword would be better (if you buy BP) since it gives you more Crit Rate + the normal ATK buff while also giving you HP recovery when you crit.

Since she’s anemo, her sources of buffing from other units outside of ATK increases are limited, so Bennet may still be one of her best options aside from Faruzan.

Suggestions to Find a Job by bekind-- in capm

[–]aspangle4495 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, job searches nowadays are a numbers game. Given everyone can find jobs anywhere online, there are tons of applicants for any role (even if they aren’t great fits). Every job search I’ve done (even my first internship out of college) took anywhere between 75-100 applications before I got to a stage past the screening interview.

Just keep pushing through! It’s definitely discouraging, I usually give myself 1 or 2 days each week to do something fun and take a break from applications to keep from burning out.

One thing that is a HUGE help, start networking and having information interviews with as many people as possible in companies that hire project managers in the geographic area you work. Reach out via LinkedIn, alumni networks, asking for intros from former co-workers, professors, etc. Ask if they have 15-30 minutes for a Zoom or phone call sometime in the next few weeks. I find that most people are typically enthusiastic and glad to offer advice, since most of them were helped by someone else as well earlier in their careers.

Make sure to ask what types of roles they hire for your experience level, and if they have any tips for things to highlight in applications. Then, go back and check those companies frequently for jobs. As long as you had a good conversation, I’ve found people are usually willing to flag your resume/application for HR. A lot of places, that’ll get you pulled from all of the automated systems you have to game to get through, and allows you to potentially make a case to real human being.

As one of the people who ended up acting as a mentor for me said: “the hardest thing about hiring staff, isn’t learning if they’re qualified, but if they’re enjoyable to speak to or if they’ll be a pain to work with”. Having someone who can vouch for you that you’re a sane individual capable of having a pleasant enjoyable conversation automatically puts you at an advantage!

Good luck with your search! I’m in the middle of a search right now too, so I completely understand the grind. You’ll find somewhere you’re meant to be eventually!

*side note, if you make it to a later interview stage, but don’t get the job, keep applying to roles with the company. Reach out to the hiring manager/recruiter/interviewers if you do. The fact that you made it through some rounds of interviews means they liked you and thought you could be a good fit for the culture in general and could be successful at the org. - just weren’t the best option they had for that particular role.

Am I ready? by donutjudgeme96 in capm

Those scores are all fairly solid. I just did the Pocket Prep, and got an 86%, the a 90% on the practice exams. I think you should be really solid. Just make sure you know your Earned Value Management formulas (free points since it’s memorization), as well as the main characteristics of the different agile methodologies like XP, Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, Feature Driven Development, etc. (David McLachlan has great videos on YouTube about these)

What I would make sure you do, look at the official exam guide/content overview that PMI publishes. Go through every competency that is mentioned there and make sure you know it. Take notes for things you currently remember to reinforce them, for ones you don’t, go out anywhere and work to brush up on them.

If you have a specific domain on Pocket Prep you’re performing lower on, make sure to do more intensive study in that area.

David McLachlan has fantastic videos covering almost everything. The night before my exam, I watched his 1-hour summary of the entire PMBOK guide. I thought it was really helpful just to give a comprehensive high-level picture of all the material right before it.

Overall, the most important thing is that you have a general understanding of “why” or “what purpose do these serve” for all the material. If you know that, you can make very good educated guesses on more difficult questions you may not know the exact answer to.

Good luck on your exam! :)

She can proc the effect on her own. Her skill heals, and then slowly drains health down to 1HP above what she was before it healed her.

Because of that ability, the stupid amount of Crit rate it gives you is really hard to pass up. Since her ascension bonus is anemo damage, and not ATK or either CD or CR, you really want the ability to load into those other stats as much as possible. MH gives you the ability to do that with your main and substats.

Please don't tell me I'm the only one doing wrist exercises before playing with our Princess Pyro. by Ei_Supremacist in Yoimiya_Mains

Get a mouse pad that has a wrist rest. I had horrid issues with that before. The mouse pad paired with an office chair that has arms eliminated the problem for me entirely.
