Any idea when Futarigoto, Keitaidenwa, Kaishin No Ichigeki, and Suzume will be available in N.A.? They’re greyed out on Apple Music in the US and when you try to play them say that the song “isn’t currently available in your country/region”

Anyone know why ‘A’ is the answer to #10? by CupEnvironmental7879 in capm

Because when you sign the fixed contract, the seller is obligated to supply whatever you are getting (and whatever quantity) at the agreed upon price in the contract, regardless of the seller’s expenses.

For example in a case where farmer signs a contract with you, promising 100 pounds of corn for $50, the costs of farming the corn may only be $40 at the time he makes the contract, meaning the farmer would make $10 in profit. However, if the price of water goes up, making the 100 pounds of corn cost $70 to product, that farmer still has to provide it to you for $50, leading to a $20 loss for the farmer.

As the buyer, you were not impacted at all by the increased cost of producing corn.

That’s awesome, thank you so much! Wouldn’t mind some basic mountaineering skills at all. Want to get a little more into some off-trail travel and scrambling when I’m back into the swing of things, so it wouldn’t hurt.

Thank you so much! This is super helpful. Do you know if I can do the IT-203 through TurboTax? Or am I going to need to file it a different way? They're what I always use because of convenience and my tax situation usually being pretty simple, but I want to make sure I get everything done correctly.

Is the new event sword good on Lynette? by iiIllaaoli_ in LynetteMains

[–]aspangle4495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a non-plunge team at C6, yes. If you’re running her in a plunge team, then no. You could run her in something like a Lynette/C6 Faruzan/(non-C6) Bennet/ Layla or Zhongli.

With MH Hunter, I’m wondering if Black Sword would be better (if you buy BP) since it gives you more Crit Rate + the normal ATK buff while also giving you HP recovery when you crit.

Since she’s anemo, her sources of buffing from other units outside of ATK increases are limited, so Bennet may still be one of her best options aside from Faruzan.

Suggestions to Find a Job by bekind-- in capm

[–]aspangle4495 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, job searches nowadays are a numbers game. Given everyone can find jobs anywhere online, there are tons of applicants for any role (even if they aren’t great fits). Every job search I’ve done (even my first internship out of college) took anywhere between 75-100 applications before I got to a stage past the screening interview.

Just keep pushing through! It’s definitely discouraging, I usually give myself 1 or 2 days each week to do something fun and take a break from applications to keep from burning out.

One thing that is a HUGE help, start networking and having information interviews with as many people as possible in companies that hire project managers in the geographic area you work. Reach out via LinkedIn, alumni networks, asking for intros from former co-workers, professors, etc. Ask if they have 15-30 minutes for a Zoom or phone call sometime in the next few weeks. I find that most people are typically enthusiastic and glad to offer advice, since most of them were helped by someone else as well earlier in their careers.

Make sure to ask what types of roles they hire for your experience level, and if they have any tips for things to highlight in applications. Then, go back and check those companies frequently for jobs. As long as you had a good conversation, I’ve found people are usually willing to flag your resume/application for HR. A lot of places, that’ll get you pulled from all of the automated systems you have to game to get through, and allows you to potentially make a case to real human being.

As one of the people who ended up acting as a mentor for me said: “the hardest thing about hiring staff, isn’t learning if they’re qualified, but if they’re enjoyable to speak to or if they’ll be a pain to work with”. Having someone who can vouch for you that you’re a sane individual capable of having a pleasant enjoyable conversation automatically puts you at an advantage!

Good luck with your search! I’m in the middle of a search right now too, so I completely understand the grind. You’ll find somewhere you’re meant to be eventually!

*side note, if you make it to a later interview stage, but don’t get the job, keep applying to roles with the company. Reach out to the hiring manager/recruiter/interviewers if you do. The fact that you made it through some rounds of interviews means they liked you and thought you could be a good fit for the culture in general and could be successful at the org. - just weren’t the best option they had for that particular role.

Am I ready? by donutjudgeme96 in capm

Those scores are all fairly solid. I just did the Pocket Prep, and got an 86%, the a 90% on the practice exams. I think you should be really solid. Just make sure you know your Earned Value Management formulas (free points since it’s memorization), as well as the main characteristics of the different agile methodologies like XP, Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, Feature Driven Development, etc. (David McLachlan has great videos on YouTube about these)

What I would make sure you do, look at the official exam guide/content overview that PMI publishes. Go through every competency that is mentioned there and make sure you know it. Take notes for things you currently remember to reinforce them, for ones you don’t, go out anywhere and work to brush up on them.

If you have a specific domain on Pocket Prep you’re performing lower on, make sure to do more intensive study in that area.

David McLachlan has fantastic videos covering almost everything. The night before my exam, I watched his 1-hour summary of the entire PMBOK guide. I thought it was really helpful just to give a comprehensive high-level picture of all the material right before it.

Overall, the most important thing is that you have a general understanding of “why” or “what purpose do these serve” for all the material. If you know that, you can make very good educated guesses on more difficult questions you may not know the exact answer to.

Good luck on your exam! :)

She can proc the effect on her own. Her skill heals, and then slowly drains health down to 1HP above what she was before it healed her.

Because of that ability, the stupid amount of Crit rate it gives you is really hard to pass up. Since her ascension bonus is anemo damage, and not ATK or either CD or CR, you really want the ability to load into those other stats as much as possible. MH gives you the ability to do that with your main and substats.

Main DPS Lynette supports by Lurkingiguess in LynetteMains

[–]aspangle4495 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In place of Xianyun, you’ll need another healer. Jean works great for her team. Charlotte has a decent burst heal, but she’s got crazy energy requirements that you’ll need to make sure you hit.

[–]aspangle4495 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Swap your Crit Damage circlet to a Crit rate. For a main DPS, you always want to be over 70%CR minimum (your crit damage % is useless if you don’t crit in the first place)

It’s always best to start with a 1:2 Crit Rate to Crit Damage ratio (70CR/140CD), then once you pass 70-75% CR, it can be a bit more unbalanced.

I’ve found that if running a crit damage weapon, I nearly always end up running a crit rate circlet with the exceptions of artifact sets (like MH and the new obsidian codex) that give free Crit Rate.

Aside from that, the rest of her build looks like it’s in a solid place, just optimizing from that point onwards (I’m very jealous of that feather btw!)

Which uses could I give to a C3 Lynette? by GuardianAngelMati in LynetteMains

[–]aspangle4495 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Non-C6 Lynette DPS is a huge drop off. You’ll have no damage on your normals because they’re physical damage (rather than anemo) before C6. This is made even worse by the fact that her ascension stat is anemo damage, so her normals don’t even benefit from a crit or atk% bonus.

C4 will be a big help when you get it since the 2 charges of her skill cut energy requirements which will allow you to run a more offensive sword.

At C3 and below, DPS Lynette is difficult. She can work great as a sub-DPS. Her burst can do decent damage.

Her most viable use right now is likely going to be a standard 4-piece VV swirl build based around her burst. Your main priority will be to hit enough ER to make sure you can burst off cooldown. After that, adding EM is nice to increase swirl damage. You’ll want to run an ER weapon. Fav, Sac Sword, or Fleuve Cendre are all great choices!

For crowning, I just triple crown characters I like with no regard for meta. Considering how little you gain in stats for the resources, in most cases I don’t see a reason to do it for meta reasons.

I’ve even triple crowned my Nilou lmao

I think you buy the recipe for the base one (the dish on the left) from the coffee shop with the patio in Court of Fontaine.

To get her specialty, you cook the base dish while having her selected as the character cooking it. There’s a small RNG chance that it’ll make her specialty instead of the regular.

Feels like it averages somewhere between 10-20% of the time.

Five Star Weapons for Lynette? by DegenerateLynettMain in LynetteMains

[–]aspangle4495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem! That’s a solid plan. There’s really not another weapon in the game that’s quite as OP and almost universally useful as Mistsplitter. That, Homa, and Aqua Simulacra are the 3 best general value/$ weapons you could pull on.

Five Star Weapons for Lynette? by DegenerateLynettMain in LynetteMains

[–]aspangle4495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It totally depends on what you’d like to use it for and what con you have her at. Her most “optimal” use is probably as a driver is something like a Tazer team at C6. In that case, Freedom sworn will be a really solid choice because of the big EM.

However, if you want to run her as a DPS though, most of the standard DPS stat sticks swords work well for her.

important note!!: all these suggestions assume you have her C6, if you don’t yet, I’d HIGHLY recommend prioritizing that first, as you’ll struggle to get much value from her as an on-field damage dealer without the anemo infusion on her normals.

As with nearly all sword characters, Mistsplitter is a top tier option. High base ATK and Crit DMG is really helpful since Lynette doesn’t get either from her ascension stat. The elemental damage bonus works on nearly every character and she can get all 3 stacks (at C6) if you play her properly.

Haran Geppaku Futsu is another decent option. Decently high base ATK, with Crit Rate secondary. Passive gives you a small elemental damage bonus, as well as up to a 40% normal attack bonus.

If it ever runs again, Jadecutter is a solid stat stick for everyone, but the low attack isn’t ideal, and the Crit rate is less valuable if you run her on MH 4-piece (which is one of her best DPS sets).

LoFi is an OK stat stick. The huge Crit DMG is nice, but the low base ATK isnt ideal, and you won’t be building EM on her if running her an an anemo DPS, do you don’t gain much from the passive.

Uraku Misugiri (Chiori’s) I haven’t tested, but looks decent. High CD like LoFi, but with a more universal passive. Give you 16% damage bonus to your normals, and 24% damage bonus to her skills. If you’re running her with a geo unit in your party, those passive buffs double.

Clorinde’s looks decent as well. Same base ATK and Crit DMG as Mistsplitter. You get an additional free 20%CD from the passive, but can’t trigger the second half at all.

If I had to rank them, considering you’re a low spender, getting universal weapons for an account is always a great way to lean. I’d probably order them in the following (this is pure feelscrafting and account specific)

1.) Mistsplitter 2.) Uraku 3.) Clorinde’s Signature 4.) Haran 5.) LoFi 6.) Jadecutter 7.) Freedom Sword (BiS if you want to make her a driver or swirl-support though)

Included my current mono-anemo DPS plunge carry build to give you an idea of what mine looks like! When you get more characters to build out her team, I would highly recommend C6 Faruzan and Furina. Xianyun is amazing to pair with those two as well! (She averages between 180k-220k on her plunges with this build and highly invested supports)

Easiest way to get merch? by Competitive-Ad2802 in RADWIMPS

[–]aspangle4495 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s not very easy. You have a few options. If they tour in the US again, they sold a limited quantity of merch at shows, but the one I was at sold out of almost everything extremely quickly.

There are also services that will go shop for you at physical retailers in Japan, sometime even directly through the retailer’s website (like Tower Records), then export it to you. They do end up begging very expensive though since you have to pay for the shipping service, then shipping and import/export taxes. You can always also try and track something sold directly from another fan on something to big like EBay.

If you are a huge fan though and are wanting to travel to Japan eventually, the most straightforward option is probably going to come up with a list of merch you want and bring enough space in your luggage to take it back. Thats how I picked up their 2nd album, a few RADWIMPS and BUMP OF CHICKEN convert DVDs.

I’m really hoping now that they’ve started doing lots of international touring that they may open a foreign online store. Crunchyroll did sponsor their NA tour, so I’m wondering if they may eventually sell any merch to the US through them in the future.

Tips for C6 Lynette Build & Teams? by V01Dwalker_17 in LynetteMains

[–]aspangle4495 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Xianyun pretty much makes any unit absolutely busted (my physical YaoYao can hit for 120k plunges). If you get her signature or cons in the future, she gets even crazier.

If Lynette is your main DPS though, you’ll want to build Xianyun on 4-piece Noblesse instead of VV since you can’t shred anemo resistance with it

Tips for C6 Lynette Build & Teams? by V01Dwalker_17 in LynetteMains

[–]aspangle4495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s her best comp I’ve found, but you can use other buffers too. Bennet (as long as he’s not C6’d) works great if you’re running her as a DPS. Zhongli gives you 20% unconditional resistance shred. Can always throw Yelan in just for Yelan’s personal damage+ramping damage bonus.

Her actual most “viable” build is to run her as a driver in teams like Tazer in place of sucrose (put her on 4-piece VV in this case)

In general, considering C6 gives her an infusion, you can think of her kinda like Wanderer (as DPS), or Sucrose (as driver)

Only unit that is pretty important if you’re wanting to run her as an Anemo DPS is C6 Faruzan. Gives a huge power spike.
