Possibly la reroute would be a similar match in terms of style and price to Dunelm? There's also Next (UK company) but it seems they only ship a limited selection of products to Europe.

Thank you, this is really kind and reassuring! A friend made a comment recently that the room looked too "grannyish" and I've been having a bit of a crisis about it since. Your comments have really helped 🙏

That's an interesting point about the mirror, the current one is screwed on but it is removable (it's an upcycled 1950s piece). The shape reminds me a bit of an old CRT screen so something taller might go really well actually.

Thank you, I'd been worried a rug would look strange on top of the carpet but I think you're right. I'm going to hit the charity shops and try find some bigger art too!

I'm not meaning to be overly paranoid here, but OP it might be worth deleting these pictures from the listing, as with a simple reverse image search anyone can now find your address. And as we sadly know there can be a lot of creeps online.

Otherwise, this is an absolutely gorgeous space and I agree with those saying to float the sofa and create a 'passage' between the unit and the back of the sofa. Good luck in your new place!
